I started reading the book on vacation and had time to persevere through the 200 pages to see how popular it was with others. Once you hit page 200, you can’t remember it. I was really hungry for #2 and #3. Too bad the author died before publication and the phenomenon he created was never seen. Too bad it doesn’t exist anymore. Later I looked for other options and found them in Roslund & Hellstrom books.
I absolutely love this book. I picked it up to read on the plane to Ecuador and finished it on the second day of vacation after reading it all there. I totally didn’t think it was a 600 page book and I’m kicking myself for not packing the second and third book. It is really mysterious. I thought about it early on, but there were many unexpected things.
This is Steig Larsson’s (1) The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo; (2) The Girl Who Played and (3) The Hornet’s Nest are my reviews of Kicked Girls. The trilogy as a whole is a good read. (1) was the best so far, with plenty of plot twists and occasional tasty revenge throughout. (2) the plot line is linear and inferior; It was punctuated by repeated Jacob Pattersonesque expressions like “bite your lip” and dozens of gestures referring to her crooked or lopsided smile. A simple “search and delete” would have removed them and greatly improved the book. (3) was better than (2) and had a satisfying ending. I would recommend this trilogy to my friends who like suspense.

His ability to vividly describe the country in which his characters live is admirable. Characters leap off the page, eager to claim their share in the real world, not just the book world. Lisabeth is a very complex character. He doesn’t get other people in the book easily, but he is a reader for me. Pain “I myself” The anger is so real and relatable. Where is this girl, I want to make friends with her. The mystery kept me reading and thinking. He was eager to settle down with Mikael and Lisabeth. I really appreciate how the book moves along as it takes place over the course of a year. Many books written like this are 20-40 pages long. The author may have told the story about a year ago, but he kept the story. Each episode is an intricately crafted part of the story and never gets boring. This book is probably one of the oldest books I have ever read. It includes sadism, graphic murder, sex, incest I will warn you that there are elements of torture and perverted sex. This does not take away from the story’s level of enjoyment; But it is important to personally point out the disturbing content. I plan to read the other books and finally plan to check out the Swedish version. from the movie. No wonder America is creating their own version. American filmmakers don’t like to be left out. I believe you would prefer the Swedish version. I’ve heard it before; I’m sure they are always better in the original language.
