Eminem Crazy In Love Meaning – Eminem was just days away from finishing his new album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (out Nov. 5), when we spoke at his suburban Detroit studio in early October. In these samples of the following
The cover, which hits stores on November 22, talks about the recording process, going blonde, his wicked sense of humor and more.
Eminem Crazy In Love Meaning
Hmm, that’s a tough question, man. For the most part, yes. But I don’t know that I ever feel completely comfortable with a record when I put it out. With every record I put out, someone literally has to come and take it from me, because when I listen to my own music, all I hear is mistakes in it. As I hear “Oh shit! I could have done this or that better!’ And I will work myself to death. Obviously, if I didn’t feel comfortable with it, I wouldn’t release it. But from the beginning, from the beginning of my career, I don’t know if I’ve ever been completely like that, that’s it.
The Women Of Pop Are Imagining Life Without Fame
I guess you could say the last minute nerves of “Shit! Are the voices loud enough? Do you hear what I’m saying in this part? Is the rhythm correct? Are the vocals too loud?’ If I didn’t have to mix any songs and just take the two actual songs I was rapping on and play them, I would. Because nothing feels like the first time you did it.
But aren’t you going to change the text or something? Is it just mixing and voicing? It’s just some sonic crap that needs to be worked out for the most part, because when I decide to stick with a song, that’s it. For example, if it doesn’t work, I know right away as soon as I put it in the car and drive it home.
Um, I will say that one was [manager Paul Rosenberg’s] idea. In the early stages of recording and developing this shit, I had thought about it. And as the songs started to come together and the image became a little clearer than it would have been, I had the idea and I was like, “You know I thought of that, right?” And he said, “Well, you know , why not?” And I was like, “I don’t know what it’s going to look like. I haven’t had it in how many fucking years? Five, six years. I was like, “I’m so used to it being dark,” you know. So I tried it. And I was like, “Shit.”

Did it help you reframe your thinking or did it change the way you shot?
Not really, honestly. Because I already had most of the songs. And I don’t know if I’ll keep it that way or how long I’ll keep it. But for now it is what it is. And I feel like it can fit in and maybe people will understand that when they get the record.
For Recovery, there was a lot of rejection. You recorded 100 songs or something, or at least you had 100 beats. So, was there a lot of stuff sitting in the junk pile this time?
Eminem’s Dirty Secrets
I feel like I’m probably working harder than I’ve ever been in my life right now. I probably worked more on that record than any other record, with the exception of maybe the time period during the Eminem Show, which is a little confusing because there was a lot of crap going on at the time. be so busy with
And make the movie 8 mile and the movie soundtrack and music. This is probably the equivalent of that, but it all focuses primarily on register.
He obviously knew there might be certain expectations. Like, I wouldn’t want to call it that just for the sake of calling it that. So I wanted to make sure I had the right songs to call it that. So, lots of recording. Lots of songs that people will probably never listen to. We hit a few roadblocks. There were songs where the beat leaked or a producer sold the beat to someone else or whatever. And just when you think you’ve got it or you’ve got the right number of songs, you go back and listen and go, “Damn! I feel like it needs this or that” to paint the whole picture.
Eminem And Rihanna Might Have A New Song Coming
A lot of people, maybe even you, think the original is your best album. It’s probably my favorite. I think some of them are my favorites for different reasons. I hate to say this about my own record, but I mean the first three records, I think they might have captured a time period. And then I think I probably publicly said, you know, Encore and Relapse weren’t, they were just different times.
You were hard on Relapse, but Tyler, The Creator says it’s his favorite hip-hop record in years. He loves this record.
Yes, it tells me every time I see it. I don’t hate the record. I want to rap and always try to do my best lyrically but at the same time find the right balance between that and making the right songs. And you know, I don’t know if I’ve necessarily found that balance yet because I was getting sober and just getting back on my feet and there were a lot of songs that were like, “Ha ha, this is fun!” You know, walking around and joking around with your friends . and other things and it ends up on the record and you laugh at it. Because when I got sober, it was like, I’ve said it before, but it was like, “Oh shit! I can think straight again!” So I don’t know if that record was my best work song in terms of writing songs that felt like something, that carried some emotion. I put highlights on the floor. I was caught in this kind of streak killer, crazy environment and I just put up with it.
Beyond The Beat: Stan By Eminem. Looking Through One Of Eminem’s Darkest…
In Recovery, apparently your world has come to that. How do you feel about this record now?
It was the first time I worked with so many producers outside of our camp. Besides working with Dre, I’ve always wanted to produce my own records because producing is fun for me too. One of the things I liked about this record was getting beats that already had choruses. It’s like a challenge for me to be able to listen to someone else’s hook and interpret the words. Because of my own hooks, I now know what I mean when I write them. The way I make music is, no matter what the beat is and no matter what catchiness it has or doesn’t have, I always want to try to go as hard as I can on the lyrics. So whether the beat feels like, “Wow, maybe this can play on the radio,” I don’t say, “Maybe the radio will play this, so I’ll improvise.” I’ve always seen him as wanting to approach every record from an MC perspective.
So how did you decide to define this as the follow-up to The Marshall Mathers LP? How did you decide to make your life so miserable?
Eminem’s ‘forgotten’ Daughter Alaina Who Shies Away From The Spotlight
As much as a review, this is a different period of my life. So there won’t be sequels to every song or anything like that. For me it’s more about mood and nostalgia. One of my favorite new things is experimenting with old and new rhythms and sounds and things like that. You know, retro crap and try to make it current, like update it.
Does Rick Rubin’s search come from that direction? You said, “Why didn’t you go back to the source?”
Paul had mentioned to me that he might be interested in it and I was talking to him and I was like, ‘Shit, man.’ Another thing with this record is that I went back to producing more. in
The Madd Rapper
, I wanted to focus more on the writing and not worry about making the beats. in
I think mostly everything was Dre. So I started producing little by little. I was in the middle of it when Paul picked him up and he was making noises like that and I don’t know if that made Paul reach for Rick or Rick reached for him. But as soon as I heard he was interested, I was like, “Hey, just let me finish this and let’s go.”
