Dip a paper towel into the oil mixture. Coat the wooden spoons with the oil and place them on a baking sheet. Place the pan in a 350 degree oven for two minutes. Remove the baking sheet and let the spoons cool completely before using.

You might be thinking…this sounds like a lot of work for just one spoon, but considering it might just be in your kitchen 50 years from now, it’s totally worth it.

I finished the first seasoning on my new spoon and it’s well on its way to being my new favorite, right next to my silicone spatula (but we’ll leave that for another day).
