If your home has lampshades, you can add images of Halloween characters to create silhouettes. Here a witch, a spider, and a cat on the roof are not bad ideas for you to try.

You can place some Halloween themed wreaths on the doors. Be sure to separate them so that each door is like an entrance to another world. You can make some tombstones out of styrofoam and place them in strategic places around the house. Places like a mantel or corner study table are great for these decorations.

Instead of carving jack-o-lanterns out of your pumpkins, use them as drink holders. Alternatively, you can paint over them with Halloween designs. Switch out your regular welcome mat for something more Halloween themed.

Today I’m taking you on a little tour of our home. I used to go more “all out” for Halloween than I do now, but I don’t have the time or energy for that anymore.
