The two biggest disputes are between 1) Disney and Universal and 2) Disneyland and Walt Disney World. In the next article we will look at the next post, now we want to touch on the rivalry between the siblings of the first one.
The term “sibling rivalry” is the best way to describe the Disneyland vs. Walt Disney World conflict because of the similarities between two brothers born in the same place, two fandoms like to argue. In the family, someone from the outside tries to come to another park, the other jumps in to protect them. I can say that my sister is annoying and agreeable, but if someone says so, I will.

So which is better, Disneyland or Walt Disney World? The answer to this is easy: what park did you visit the most as a child, what park did you live closest to, and/or what was the last park you went to?

The questions are too subjective and too complex to answer honestly. All we can do is look at different elements, different attractions and different areas, and compare these small parts instead. Make broad judgments. Don’t worry, we won’t shy away from a difficult decision and will definitely disappoint many of you.
We want to start by saying that we were lucky enough to visit Walt Disney World and Disneyland last month. Although many people visit both resorts, it is a rare experience to visit both parks in a few weeks. Both trips are multi-day vacations. We stayed in luxury hotels at the Grand California Resorts at Disneyland and the Yacht Club at Walt Disney World, and spent a lot of time at each of the parks at Disneyland Park and at Disney California Adventure and Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom at the Disneyland Resort. , Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood. Studios at Walt Disney World. Both resorts are operating under covid restrictions and any disappointments with these temporary changes are disregarded.

You’ll notice that both King Arthur and Prince Charming are missing, both the Mark Twain and Liberty Belle riverboats are not discussed, some attractions like Mickey’s Philharmagic, the Winnie the Pooh show, and experiences like the Animation Academy and Savi’s Workshop are not mentioned. To our surprise, there were millions of people who only rode Walt Disney World and thought it was a Great Ride. Indulge yourself and visit Disneyland to see the real ride.
Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean was the last ride managed from conception to creation by Walt Disney himself before his death. There’s an unparalleled level of storytelling and a layer of magic that can only come from Walt himself.

The Walt Disney World version is shorter, but it doesn’t matter. Yes, there are scenes missing that make Disneyland feel full and complete. But the real difference can’t be measured by time or scene, it has the depth of the story and the splash of magic that complements the Disneyland version. Walt Disney was a gifted storyteller and was surrounded by the greatest and brightest of his time. Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean is Walt’s masterpiece and cannot be copied.
That’s a problem, because Splash Mountain is a well-designed ride in both versions that leaves guests smiling, touching their toes and getting a little wet (or in some cases a little more). Soon the walk will be repeated in both parks. The transition to The Prince and the Frog is something we fully support and can’t wait to see. But the change hasn’t happened yet, so which version of Splash Mountain prevails? We give it to Walt Disney World.
The two biggest differences are car and walking time. For Disneyland’s version of rides, guests sit in single file on floating logs, while Walt Disney World seats guests next to each other in a wide log. We like both arrangements and are by no means convinced based on this alone. Time to go to Walt Disney World. The Florida version runs over 2.5 minutes and contains two more drops than the California version. Both rides have simplified the exterior layout a bit, and both feature an interior line-up closer to the driver’s boot area that’s perfectly themed and full of detail. The ride has the same main scenes, the same grand finale episodes and the same song, but the extra hours and drops of Florida make this version even better.
Disney World Vs Disneyland Castles, What’s The Difference And Which Is Better?
We give it to Walt Disney World for the same reason we give Splash to Walt Disney World. Magic Kingdom’s version of the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad seems a bit longer, and it’s a pleasant experience that adds extra time to the ride.
The Walt Disney World version also has a completely random variety of designs that help pass kidney stones. We’ve been through many of these moments in our lives, so we’ll always have a special relationship for anything that helps with that process, especially if it’s a never-ending rollercoaster of fun.
One area where Disneyland’s version is better is the last mountain, where Disneyland recently added visual and sound effects to mimic exploding mountains. It wasn’t enough to overcome the longer Walt Disney World run, especially since I heard these effects were planned for the Magic Kingdom but were delayed due to the Covid shutdown. No matter where you ride, you’ll have a great time. But the Walt Disney World version beats it by a long shot and gives you more bang for your buck.
Genie+ Price Increases At Walt Disney World And Disneyland
Next to someone else. Both versions were great fun and both allowed me to jump off an imaginary beam ready to take my head off. The rides are as varied as Splash Mountain, but in contrast, the California version seats guests and the Florida version puts guests in the same row. Another difference is that the Magic Kingdom version has two tracks and the Disneyland version has one. Those two differences, the vehicles or the number of lanes, aren’t enough of an issue to sway us in any way, but it’s the last two that seal the deal.
The Walt Disney World version is so rough that it pushes the line of not being an enjoyable ride experience. Disneyland rides are full of twists and turns, and due to recent improvements, the ride itself is smooth. But that’s not a deal breaker either. The first reason Disneyland’s version of Space Mountain is so good is the music.
