Chicken Party For Kids How It Got Started – Margie has been an online writer for years. Her articles focus on great Southern-style recipes for every occasion.
Easter has come and gone, and my husband and I are walking around WallyWorld, better known to some as Walmart, seeing all the discounted Easter stuff, you know, the expensive stuff you buy before the sale!
Chicken Party For Kids How It Got Started
My husband, better known as Grampa, said to me, “You know, it’s a shame that the grandkids only dye eggs once a year – who made the rule that it’s only once a year?!”

Now the hen party has started. We filled the cart with the egg dye we thought we would need and anything else that would fit our chicken party.
I throw parties for my grandchildren all the time and let them invite their friends. So we had a real hen party with all the girls that came.
We started dyeing the eggs that I cooked earlier and they made beautiful designs on them. They had to go with those who had drawn a house with them.
Afternoon Tea Or High Tea Party For Kids
Of course, when her grandmother throws a party, there is always food. We kept the chicken theme as much as we could. We have chicken nuggets, french fries, just the right amount of fruit with those toothpicks and ice cream.
My daughter and daughter-in-law made chicken hats for everyone to wear – we had so much fun making these hats. We bought all the bouncy houses we could find and enough shower caps for each kid at the Dollar Store.
They glued the boas around the shower cap until it was closed and then made a chicken list from the yellow picture board. They were so cute – the kids loved them! There are a few chicken themed items that you can buy in stores. I was cheap.
Indian Dinner Party Menu Ideas
Make it easy on yourself – buy chicken strips or strips, dips, gravy and fries! Buy some fresh fruit – my grandchildren love the small pieces with a nice bite. Some of their favorite fruits include oranges and apples, watermelons, grapes and pineapples, to name a few. They also loved the cheese slices!
Now about the ice cream floats – they are light; just make sure you don’t forget the whipped cream in the piping bag and the maraschino cherries with the stem! I know, you rarely put it on a float, but we do at grandma’s house.
I live in the countryside and we don’t have a McDonald’s where we can buy chicken strips and fries – as if we could get them! So grandma did everything in the house.
Chicken Babies: Chicken Birthday Party
I have an oven that has a split section and I use it to keep the chicken and fries warm – it works perfectly!
I did this when my grandchildren were around 9 or 10. Now they are in high school, college and getting married! Some of their friends who came to the party still remember.
Just use your imagination and create memories with your children and grandchildren by making a special party for them and their friends!
Chicken Satay {with Peanut Dipping Sauce}
Do this when they’re young, because when they’re in the boyfriend and girlfriend stage and getting their driver’s licenses, they won’t be walking through the door without open arms and running up to you for a hug! They still hug, but I have to steal them sometimes.
More crazy and fun parties we’ve done over the years include rock and roll parties, tea parties, Luau parties and more!
Yes, Louise will work well for Easter too, maybe some bunnies can go with the children or replace them!

Here are some great ideas for a hen party. Easter can be a lot of fun with these ideas. Several weeks ago I was sitting around the dinner table with my children and the subject of birthday parties came up. Nathan’s birthday was on the line so the kids asked him what kind of party he wanted. He wanted a pirate party? A train festival? Muppets? Cars? He listened in silence and sat up and said, “I know! Chicken party!!” Seriously, is it any wonder this kid is my favorite? That is, if the parents have a favorite child, which they do not have, but it may be in the list if there is such a list, but of course I do not have a favorite.
The next month, Nathan told people he was going to have a hen party and he really enjoyed it. I started looking on the internet for ideas.
We started with a fun game of “Duck, Duck, Chicken”, but it was hard for the new 3 year old to remember to say “chicken” instead of “Goose”.
Dave & Buster’s
We followed that up with a round of ‘Musical Nests’. Turns out this was not a good game to play with a 3 year old. He didn’t see why he was sitting outside and why someone else was sitting on his “house”, so we abandoned him instead. that’s just the chicken dance. The children liked him very much.
Later we had an “egg and spoon” race with plastic eggs. The kids made 2 lines and we did it relay style. Funny, my 3 year old ovulates less than a 9 year old. He’s smart.
The last game we played was “Good Egg”. I put some small erasers in some white balloons and the kids sat on them and pushed the balloons up to pop them.

I had a really cute chicken pie that I tried to copy from here, and as you can see, I didn’t do it very well. It seems she used coconut to make the chicken tender. I don’t like coconut, so I tried to use grated white chocolate. It doesn’t matter. I also made a chocolate chicken cake, just because.
When our brothers left, Nathan gave the donkeys a hen party. The party bags contained a cookie, some chicken treats (candy corn), some bubble gum stickers, and an egg shaker that I had prepared in advance for the kids to shake during the party.
