1. Giant spiders for Halloween. These giant spiders will add a spooky look to your home. All you need is foam tubes, foam balls and faux fur fabric – found at craft stores like Michaels, JoAnn and Hobby Lobby. You will also need hot glue, wire, hemispherical wire balls and zip ties. These spiders can be 2 feet, 4 feet, or 7 feet long, or use a combination of sizes to create the ultimate spooky Halloween decor! 2. Jack Skellington’s door. Using the template, you can trace the shapes onto the black cardboard. You will need black electrical tape to attach the eyes and nose to the door. 3. Cans for souls. To create this simple DIY, you’ll need gallon milk jugs, a black permanent marker, a craft knife, and a string of low-wattage clear light bulbs. This is a fun project for the whole family! Draw spooky faces with a marker on your jugs and then color them. Cut out the entire back of the pitchers and fill with some lights. Place these lighted ghosts in front of your house, or attach battery-powered lights to each one and spread them around your property (like lanterns). (via Eighteen25)
4. The ghost of the tomato cage. This simple and inexpensive DIY will take you less than 15 minutes to complete. You will need a tomato cage (Home Depot, Lowes) with the small end facing up. Wrap the cage in spooky orange Halloween lights (you can also use white or purple). Large white pillows (or white garbage bags) will be used to create the ghost – make a cut about 1/4 up each side to make it fit. A black blade is needed to form the eyes and mouth. 5. Glowing eyes in the bush. To recreate this Halloween DIY, you’ll need an empty paper towel or a roll of toilet paper or even a long tube of wrapping paper. Cut the creepy eyes into scrolls.
