I have never tried this brand before, but I tried both the shorts in the petite and the camisole in the “nude” color. I really liked the color – well, it was a natural nude so it wouldn’t be obvious if it showed. They didn’t have legs, so the bottoms sat on my legs and didn’t create a line under my dress.

The fabric on these two was really light but had great control. You can wear these all day and night and never feel awkward or uncomfortable. The shorts were great for tummy control and made everything look cute without being tight. The fit was the same – great flattering options, I loved that it came out on my bust rather than cut. It also lifted my bust a bit, which I will never complain about 😉 The length is a bit long, which gives great coverage and shapes your legs, but it’s not great for short dresses. It hit me a few inches above my knee and I’m 5’6”.

The price of the Commando brand is very reasonable – the shorts are under $60 and the slip-ons are under $100 – and depending on the fabric, they are sturdy and will last through many views. Definitely recommended.

I tried the slip (x-small) and the shorts (x-small / small). The slide was, of course, a normal slide, but made of a strange plastic cloth. It says smooth and delicate, but to be honest, the paper was so thin it didn’t do anything for me, and the straps were so thin it felt like it was going to squeeze. Even on a small scale, it is weakened a little. I don’t recommend it.

The shorts were great though. They’re thick and tight – a little hard to get off, but comfortable once they’re in and provide great control. They have a chin, or if you wear a shirt with a thin fabric, you can see a half line. It has integrated silicone points on the belt to control slippage. I actually like it a lot and they are a great value point.

Being such a popular brand, I was excited to see how it stacked up against other brands. I tried on some shorts when I was little, this dress when I was little, and this dress when I was little.

The shorts were my least favorite of the three Spanx products I tried, certainly not as good as the Commando or Yummie. You can’t tell from the product photo, but the nude comes in gray rather than true nude. If the legs were normal, my stomach was too tight for me. If you’re a pear-shaped body type, that’s great.
