Why? Are we all doing it wrong or are we just idiots. Well I have to admit at some point we are naive humans because we follow patterns instead of exploring, we are so afraid of the consequences we try to follow what other people already done in love life.or what we see in the majority. In romantic comedies, we simply develop the idea of the perfect person, the perfect relationship, the perfect life, and that’s the bubble that we have to break if we really want to love and want to be loved .
Perfect is something we need to get out of our heads because perfect has never existed. Everything is flawed in one way or another. We all have different types of qualities, some are good and some don’t. For self-fulfillment. 100% perfect we keep beating our heads and beating until we transform ourselves into the perfect person for the world, but inside that’s not the truth because that’s not who you are inside, you a unique personality that you never take for granted.

Once you start to grow the seed of love that is within you, you will be able to love almost anyone. Of course you will not love everyone romantically but you will not hate everyone. You have the virtue of indifference, you don’t judge anyone. Being judged is the biggest fear of our generation that we are afraid of being judged by our friends, parents and society so we run, fast, jump our horses to get to a place we don’t even know.
So in short we have to love ourselves completely for who we are and once we love ourselves it will be easier to find the love of your life because you will know yourself and that is who you keep in front. Someone else will be able to see who you are and not what you pretend to be and that will give him/her a reason to love you more.

The two are directly related and self-acceptance – complete and unconditional – must come first. Our ability to accept ourselves 100%, just as we are, is what produces healthy self-love.
So you refuse to admit it to yourself? Is it your face, your hair, your body size? Is this your personality, especially if you are introverted and often feel uncomfortable around others? Is this your intelligence level? Is it your lack of creativity or talent? Is it the color of your skin, or your gender or sexual orientation? Is this your past or present behaviour? Anything you choose to hate or even hate about yourself is preventing you from accepting yourself. And prevents you from loving yourself as God created you.
My self-acceptance was never my pre-childhood “self”. It was always based on what other people told me about myself: “You are too thin,” “You are too thin,” “You lack intelligence,” “You are an attractive person, but you are not beautiful,” etc. Every negative thing anyone chose to tell me about themselves, I believed. No wonder I never developed good, healthy self-love until I recovered.

Years of recovery have taught me that the only person who makes me unhappy is me. And I do this when I give my personal power to others. When I accept and accept what others think of me, I am their prisoner. I give them control over how I see, think and feel about myself.
Ok, I’m done with this error. I need the approval of only two beings in this life: God’s and mine. And the same is true for all of us. We already have God’s approval – God made us what we are and put His seal of approval on us. Now, we need to give ourselves our stamp of approval.
Eating negative people. I have no intention of taking what they say about me seriously. Anyone who refers to me with negative words simply shows a lack of self-acceptance / self-love for me. And I won’t accept it anymore.

I am responsible for my own happiness and that starts with self-acceptance. I now accept everything about myself that I refused to accept in the past. And, instead of choosing to feel bad about myself, I choose to see others’ negative views of me and their personal flaws. If they are miserable enough inside to overcome their emotional poison, then I chose to empathize and sympathize with them. But I will never take their bad words personally again.
Choose to own your personal power by giving yourself the gift of unconditional self-acceptance. As author Robert Holden says, “No amount of self-improvement can make up for a lack of self-acceptance.” If you want to love yourself and be happy, start accepting yourself!
Author’s Note: The next few reflections come from a retreat I recently led called Good News According to Disney.
