The mistletoe sale will be based at Temeside House on Teme Street, next to the River Teme, the headquarters of the Tenbury Mistletoe Society. Here you will find the Mistletoe Shop selling a selection of mistletoe themed gifts and crafts.
The eyelash ceremony honors the plant and its harvest and is led by local druids Jake and Susan. Broseley Beats drummers join the festivities again, they certainly add to the upbeat vibe. The procession will leave Tameside House at 3pm for the riverside burgage. Here a large circle is formed and a story is played out that brings together male and female hamsters. Sacred to the Druids, this 20-minute ceremony is filled with love, beauty and a sense of peace. The hamster is then transferred to the river to carry its medicine around the world.
The celebration ends with Blackadder Morris dancing in their colorful costumes and the Broseley Beat Drummers. At 4:30 p.m., the Santa Claus parade will begin on Teme Street.
