After I applied my moisturizer, I spritzed it on my face to act as a primer and spritzed again after makeup to set everything in place. This spray definitely gets a gold star in the matte category – my oily skin didn’t stand a chance against it. It’s worth noting that my day using this product was spent in 100 degree temperatures, where I (unwisely) decided to take a boat ride on shady Lake Michigan and repeatedly sprayed my face with water mist. While my bangs and mascara bid a rude farewell, my foundation stayed strong. If you have a long, hot day ahead of you, I suggest using this as a primer and setting spray and you’re good to go.
Although I don’t really like to apply this primer, I have to say that it lives up to its name: it doesn’t prevent your makeup from staying on perfectly – even on a humid night when I was sweating during dinner.
