It is an objective faith secured by the knowledge that our salvation depends on who Christ is and what He has already done for us on the cross. Our faith is not based on who we are or what we have done to commend ourselves to God, but on Christ and His accomplishments. Objective faith is not based on sight or sense, but rests its case in the arms of God’s word of truth.
Faith is not based on experience, not calculated by logic. True faith is anchored in scriptural data. It is beyond the human intellect and cannot be penetrated by logic or discovered by scientific “evidence”. It has nothing to do with personal opinions or impressions. It is beyond the realm of human thought because it is the substance of truth designed in the mind of God.
God is not a man, so he does not lie. Prabhu is not a fallen being, so he does not flirt with fantasy or possibility. He doesn’t change his mind and doesn’t say a word he doesn’t act. Did He ever make a promise that was not kept until it was fulfilled, and it behooves us to know what His Word says and believe what He has promised.

The eye of faith sees beyond our present reality and firmly stands upon the divine revelation given by Almighty God, through the Word made flesh. A heart of faith enables us to regard as real those things which are unseen, even when the circumstances of life seem contrary to the truth of God’s Word.
All that God has revealed to us through holy men of God is right, good, and true, and the Scriptures are meant to be a sure foundation upon which to build. This is no match for so many patronizing apologetics for faith based on visions, experiences, opinions, imaginations, dreams or fantasies that excite the soul, feed the flesh and pander to the ego. Without faith it is impossible to please God and Jesus said:

Our faith, then, is trusting in what we hope for: a relationship with Christ, the blessings that flow from that relationship, and (ultimately) eternity in heaven with God. Our faith is the assurance of what we do not see: the Holy Spirit works in us and through us. These confidences and assurances are supernatural because they come from God.
