Happy Holidays! I love this time of year when friends and family come together to celebrate the season, and there’s usually food involved! I find myself setting a lot of Christmas tables this time of year and it’s always a challenge when I have to create a centerpiece for a long table.
Luckily, I’ve found an easy solution that takes minutes to implement and works with any color scheme or location settings!

This beautiful, new pine centerpiece is perfect for a long table because it can be made as long as needed and is still small and does not obstruct the view of guests.
To create this look, I started with a simple white tablecloth and then placed a bed of fresh pine boughs down the center of the table. I cut off any pieces that were too wide and made sure the ends were tucked in.
For this table, I wanted to continue the braided tartan theme from my family room Christmas decorations, so I added 12 inch strips of ribbon to the pine branches along the length of the center piece. This is the same technique I use to put ribbon on my Christmas trees. You can view this information by clicking HERE.

After I got the temple I added cold copper resin to it, then sprinkled frozen pine cones and glitter on the pine runner.
The final touch is to add six copper candle holders with white tapers. And that was it! So easy to make this long table centerpiece in minutes!
When I finished the centerpiece, I also wanted to add more of a tartan plaid accent, so I placed a ribbon on each side of the table and let it drape over the edge. A simple v-cut ends the board.
