Walking, listening to music and making phone calls are just a few of the ways people use their phones in their cars. But these apps drain your phone and drain your battery. A cable charger is a great way to charge your phone, but it can be inconvenient when you need to use your phone hands-free. Fortunately, many wireless chargers allow you to charge and charge your phone at the same time—you can check your progress or change songs, hands-free. Thanks to wireless charging technology, the best phones around can stay juiced up during long drives. If you’re using the latest iPhone 14 or Samsung Galaxy S22, you’ll want to use one of the best wireless car chargers on your next trip.
Wireless charging doesn’t mean no phones—you still need to plug the charger into your car. But you can reduce the number of cables you have to run around. Once it’s set up, you’ll need to open your phone from the outside when trying to juice it up. If you’re looking to add one of the best phone chargers to your car, check out the chart below for some of the best options on the market right now.

Note that every wireless charger in this buyer’s guide works with any wireless charging-capable phone, whether it’s an iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, or other Qi-enabled phone . If you have your phone attached – as long as it’s not too tight, you can leave it on while charging your phone. Many of these chargers even double up as adjustable phone chargers so your smartphone won’t fly away anytime.
One of the best ways to boost your phone is with an automatic auto-clamp car charger. Although the prices are very high, we have seen some good deals recently. The Auto-Touch Auto-Clamp Qi charger is available in a dashboard mount version or a CD-and-Window version (I used the dashboard wireless charging port). This wireless car charger dock has a beautifully designed telescopic handle, a strong suction cup, and a wireless charging pad that’s compatible with most phone cases. You’ll charge 7.5 watts for iPhones, which is considered wireless charging, and 10 watts for Android phones.
This Qi wireless charger comes with a dual-charge USB cigarette lighter adapter. My only issue is that it’s a small cable, the plug is USB-to-USB, not USB Type-C. Once this Qi charger is plugged into the car’s wireless charging port, you can pretty much forget about it, but if the cable gets plugged in by mistake (it happens), it’s easy to charge your phone with a USB cable -C, especially ‘please.” to drive a car
If you don’t want to go with a random name like ZeeHoo, its wireless car charger has a lot of things you need to charge your phone, like automatic lights, a coffee cup, and more. It is safe and can be installed in your car. windstorm or windstorm. Dashboard. It has USB-C and 15W fast charging for Android phones that support it (the iPhone comes with a 7.5W charger). This updated version has a lighter design than the original (see below), and costs $20 more than the iOttie. However, this wireless charger doesn’t have a cigarette lighter adapter — just a USB-C cable.

This Wireless Car Mount Charger with Auto Telescopic Arm is one of the most popular wireless car chargers out there, and the original model that I tested worked well overall, it connects easily safely in the car’s windshield, and quickly charges a smartphone or QI-enabled device. I liked that the wireless car charger also comes with a wire connector for the car air conditioner (there’s a $30 plug-in version if you want air conditioner).
The original ZeeHoo wireless car charger is still a good value at around $30. Apart from some cosmetic improvements to the updated version, the main difference is that this Android phone comes with a 10W fast charger instead of a 15W fast charger (the iPhone packs 7.5W on both chargers). Like the updated version, this wireless charger comes with a cigarette lighter adapter – only it doesn’t come with a USB-C cable, and for fast charging, you’ll need a power adapter that supports it ( excluded).
Mophie’s Snap Plus 15W Wireless Charging Vent Mount has a magnetic connector and includes a USB-C cable (the charger can be removed from the mount, but the cable is plugged into the bag). It also comes with a cigarette lighter adapter and a magnetic ring that you can attach to the back of non-MagSafe phones, including Android models. I tried it with the MagSafe charging case on the iPhone 12 Pro, and the phone stuck to the case. That said, the magnet isn’t very strong, and I wouldn’t recommend it for heavy phones like the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. But overall it’s an impressively designed device.
It can charge Android models wirelessly at 15 watts, while iPhones charge wirelessly at 7.5 watts.

If you already have Apple’s MagSafe wireless charging station, this Spigen installation kit is a great option to bring it to your car. As I mentioned, the MagSafe wireless charger is not included. Not even a USB-C cigarette lighter adapter. But at $30, this is a relatively inexpensive magnetic induction kit.
Note: To get the maximum 15W charging speed, make sure you get the right cigarette lighter adapter with it. Also, since this relies on the magnets in the wireless charging port on your phone (a MagSafe case is required if you’re using a case) it’s not recommended for the larger iPhone 13 Max Pro, as it may slip. Climbing – especially if you fall – due to weight.
Okay, so this isn’t a wireless charger, but most of the wireless chargers on this list don’t include a cigarette lighter power adapter, so I thought I’d throw this one in last. I originally had an Aukey power adapter on this list, but it’s no longer available, and this Ainope mini fast USB car charger is fast charging (24W) and cheap. It has USB-C and USB-A ports, so you can charge two devices at the same time, but it’s better if you charge one device to get a 15W wireless charger.
Note that for super fast charging on your iPhone, you need to use a USB-C to Lightning cable. Does not include phone.

If you want to go with a charger that looks smarter, a magnetic phone charger is a good choice. Iottie iTap 2 Wireless has an air intake, CD player and dashboard car exhaust. I tried the vented version, which has a locking mechanism for the vent clip that securely attaches to the charging port and vent. Note that MagSafe is not compatible with this mount.
For the wireless charger to work on a magnetic car, you’ll need a case with some metal (I have one) or you can attach one of those thin metal plates to the back of your phone. (Plug it down so the wireless line in between doesn’t interfere with the circuit). You can cover the tray with a phone case, but make sure the case is not too thick or your phone will stick to the charger.
The Iottie iTap 2 Magnetic Wireless Car Charger includes a dual USB car charger with a USB port for one-second charging.
