Other Sites Like Stitch Fix – Many fashion services offer interesting and often affordable at-home trial programs for online clothing and personal stylists, making them great alternatives to a company like Stitch Fix for 2022.
While this article goes into detail about the various online personal styling services and try before you buy, these are my favorite alternatives to Stitch Fix:

Surprisingly, Amazon’s personal styling service picked up my style pretty well on the first try. Amazon also gives you the option to preview stylist choices before your package ships, and charges a reasonable $4.99 to use the service.

Wantable is also a great choice for elegant office and business casual wear. Unfortunately, the company doesn’t offer a wide selection of business casual men’s clothing, although it does offer work and casual clothing for men.

Nordstrom’s Trunk Club offers a wide variety of business casual and office styles for men and women, and their stylists do a good job of catering to your fit and style preferences. Stitch Fix’s Future After Founder Katrina Lake? It’s Looking More Like Every Other Online Retailer
While I enjoyed the Christmas morning feeling of unwrapping new clothes, I found the experience overwhelming at times and the items tend to be quite expensive. You pay full price for the convenience and privilege of discovering new brands.

Stitch Fix Men’s Review 2022
If you like the idea of Stitch Fix but are looking for alternatives, read on. There are several companies, such as Stitch Fix, that offer custom clothing selections to try on at home through online personal stylists.
Wantable is an online personalized styling service that curates women’s and men’s clothing. Women can choose a “Style Edition” for casual and business wear, or an “Active Wear Edition” for sportswear. Men can only receive a sportswear box.
The company “partners with hundreds of premium brands such as Hudson, Cupcakes & Cashmere, Kensie, Kut From the Kloth, Lyssé, Onzie, Beyond Yoga, Wear it to Heart, Rhone and Alternative Apparel.”
Stitch Fix For Men Review
Self-proclaimed “smart but with heart,” like Stitch Fix, Wantable combines data science with online personal stylists to offer a personalized selection of clothing for women and men.
“We’re focused on being everything to everyone because every box is completely different,” founder and CEO Jalem Getz told Milwaukee Magazine.
Eric Fatke, buyer of Wantable’s men’s edition, said the company boasts an excellent team of expert stylists. Wantable’s stylists hand-pick the items for every box delivered.

He notes that each release is specifically designed for a unique customer. Each box includes a personal note about your choices and added style tips.
Wantable also offers an additional 20% off when you keep 5 or more items. (“You can really save on some brands that don’t go on sale very often!” Eric said.)
The company originally specialized in women’s accessory boxes. Since then, they’ve moved into “stylish” releases and women’s activewear, as well as men’s activewear, becoming more of a direct competitor to companies like Stitch Fix or Trunk Club.
Stitch Fix Goes After A Wealthier, More Fashion Forward Customer
Like Stitch Fix, Wantable charges $20 per “edit” style fee, which is non-refundable or non-transferable. However, this style fee can apply to any garment you purchase from the issue you receive.
On Reddit, a Wantable customer emphasized that “if the stylist pays attention to her notes, that’s good. There have been times when I specifically ordered dresses and skirts, but received jeans instead. I think the cheapest products I ever got were $35 or more. The most expensive was between $85 and $100.”
Like Stitch Fix, Wantable customers can choose to automatically subscribe to new “issues” at regular intervals, or they can choose to receive on-demand shipments.

At first, I thought this was Amazon’s latest move to further develop its leading fashion wardrobe brands for both men and women.
But I signed up for the service and got several high-end, high-end third-party brands, including UnTUCKit, Billy Reid, Alternative Apparel, Joe’s Jeans, Pendleton, and J. Crew, as well as some Amazon brands like Buttoned at the bottom.

I have to say that of all the services I’ve tried so far, Amazon suits my style better than most, and I love that you can see the selection before the packages are shipped. I have adjusted several items and am looking forward to shipping.
This is a relatively new initiative for Amazon and they keep iterating on the concept. When Amazon Personal Shopper launched, customers could only launch the service through the Amazon mobile app.
Amazon has since released a web-based version of Prime Wardrobe’s Personal Shopper, available on your computer and mobile device.
Stitch Fix Vs Trendy Butler: Which Is Best?
Nordstrom’s Trunk Club is a company like Stitch Fix in that it offers both men’s and women’s clothing, curated by an online personal stylist.
The goal is for Trunk Club to be a custom clothing box, also known as a “Trunk,” to fit your personal style and fit preferences.
Joanna Van Vleck and Brian Spaly founded Trunk Club, which launched in 2009. Nordstrom bought Trunk Club in 2014 for $350 million.
Stitch Fix: Your Ideal Fashions Are In The Computer (yes, That’s A Zoolander Joke)
The company has had its ups and downs, with Nordstrom slashing its acquisition value by $197 million in 2016 and closing all independent Trunk Club Clubhouses in 2020, as chronicled by MR Magazine’s Stephen Garner.
As I wrote in Trunk Club’s DC Clubhouse Behind the Scenes (now closed): “Trunk Club’s speech is, at its core, quality, for the busy professional. They are willing to bet that busy professionals will pay full price for the experience.”
Like Stitch Fix, Trunk Club charges a fitting fee ($25) for each box of clothing your personal online stylist puts together at home, which is credited toward whatever you decide to keep.

Nordstrom cardholders waive the $25 Trunk Club-style fee. (You can apply for a Nordstrom credit card if you don’t already have one, which offers other perks, including early access to the company’s venerable anniversary sale.)
If you’d rather choose your own clothes to try on at home, Amazon also offers Prime Wardrobe, which allows customers to try on clothes for free before buying.
I’ve used the Amazon Prime Wardrobe several times to test out items that were featured, including several Amazon menswear brands.
Stitch Fix #5: October 2014
It’s extremely convenient and I’ve never had a problem returning items. (In some cases, I returned all the products sent to me.)
I like that you can choose your own selection and that Amazon offers its own brands as well as other innovative clothing brands on its site.
Here’s the catch: You have to be an Amazon Prime member to use the service.
Are Sites Like Stitch Fix Ageist?
Nora Gardner left her career on Wall Street to found her eponymous clothing company. Their high-end workwear for women is a great example of how stylish online boutiques are working to help women look their best in the digital age.
Nora Gardner offers a stylish box that “keeps you confident and in style from table to dinner.”
Start with a style test and get a box of about 4-6 items that can include dresses, separates and/or accessories. It’s not cheap clothing: you’ll pay around $100 for matching skirts and tops to the store, and upwards of $300 for separate dresses and suits.
