Still a must watch movie for me. A must see for all adult stock market investors who aren’t too proud to look at those graphics. If you can close your eyes. visions. However, you know how far a stockbroker (or any broker) can sometimes go to close a deal, so no matter how much you don’t trust your broker, you should do your homework. Chasing money without a higher purpose is dangerous.
Warning: Spouse, child or parent of a stockbroker, this movie may be scary to watch. But if you’re one of the three and still want to watch it, watch it with your stockist spouse/parent/child. Give him a chance to defend himself now.

Michael Douglas et al. Movies make many people feel uncomfortable about investing in the stock market. (I wonder why there hasn’t been a Hollywood movie about Jesse Livermore’s colorful life yet?) The wealth created here can be intoxicating and misleading. There is a fine line between greed and ambition, especially when you lose sight of your values. Although a lot of crazy things happen in this industry that is home to high commission and quick profit players, you can still make good profits without compromising on value. There are good people in production. Some of them were industry leaders and maintained their morals. Unfortunately, they don’t make exciting Hollywood movies. Don’t worry, I will write about them soon.
