Al Pacino Look Alike Actor – I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating: one of the best talents I possess is the ability to tell that one person looks like another. Pretty cute gift, huh?
Of course, while I understand that this talent is pretty useless (sadly, being able to spot look-alikes doesn’t help cure disease or lower crime rates), it’s still something I’m very proud of. And until a few days ago it was a gift that I hadn’t used recently. But then JP Finlay of Comcast SportsNet tweeted this:
Al Pacino Look Alike Actor
After I saw this tweet, my desire to get back into the doppelganger game became too much to handle, so I decided to get back to where we are today.
The Irishman’ Gets De Aging Right—no Tracking Dots Necessary
Fortunately for me, the NCAA tournament has been in full swing lately, giving me plenty of opportunities to spot players or coaches who share an uncanny resemblance to another athlete or celebrity, easing my transition back into the local game. Below, I identify 11 of those cases, in what I believe is my strongest local gallery to date. Seriously, some of them will blow your mind.
However, I’ll warn you of one thing before I get started: once you’ve waded through the 11 comparisons below, you might never be able to look at the player or celebrity the same way again. I, for one, will never look at Jay Wright for the rest of my life without thinking, “Damn, that man looks like George Clooney.” So, continue this post at your own risk because some of these look-alikes are so amazing that they could change your life.
(Yes, I know the likelihood of a local gallery changing your life is slim to none, but aren’t you super excited to see what I came up with? That’s what I wanted. Mission accomplished).
Method Acting In The Godfather, The Lost Daughter, More (guest Column)
The Maryland forward/center looks a lot like actor and comedian Chris Tucker, the star of
For Dodd’s sake, though, you should expect his career to be more consistent and prolonged than Tucker’s, considering the actor hasn’t really done anything significant since the mid-2000s.
Not only do Michigan State’s best all-rounders and the Spurs’ long-range shooter look alike, they also play like each other. Both can hit long distance, defend multiple positions, and are key players on teams known for postseason success. If Valentine (who is a junior but has good prospects) declares and somehow finds his way to San Antonio, the Spurs broadcast team will have a hard time separating the two.
The Fake Force Of Tony Montana
Yep, middle-aged women, that’s right, there’s a man in college basketball who looks a lot like Clooney. Sadly, you missed out on seeing him at this year’s tournament (his Villanova team were knocked out at the weekend), but he is only 53 years old, an age that seems to indicate he has many seasons of coaching ahead of him. And because I’m that kind of guy, here’s the link to Villanova’s basketball season ticket waitlist, so if you want to see it in person, head over there and get in line.
With their flowing hair and bright blue eyes, Ron Baker of Wichita State and Luke Skywalker of Star Wars look like brothers who were separated at birth. Now, I can’t compare Ron Baker to the actor who played Luke (Mark Hamill) because Hamill doesn’t really look like the handsome young Jedi now (damn his Father Time), but he sure did then. And with the way Baker has fired so far in the tournament, it looks like he has a bit of “The Force” on his side as well. (Sorry, can’t resist).
Saturday Night Live has pretty much fallen apart lately, but in my opinion, Bobby Moynihan is one of the few good cast members left. And after watching Arizona play in the early rounds of the tournament this weekend, I realized that their coach, Sean Miller, is a perfect doppelgänger for Moynihan. I wonder who would fare better if the roles were reversed: Moynihan as the lead man in Wildcats #2, or Miller as drunk uncle? Both would be fun to watch.
The Best Al Pacino Movies (according To Metacritic)
I’ll be honest here when I say that the first thing I think of when I hear the name Kevin Bacon is how strange it must be to live with the last name of a popular breakfast and not his stellar film and television career, an action that is definitely an insult to how good an actor he is (
It was so bomb). Maybe now, though, I think about how Bacon looks like Zags boss Mark Few, one of the best coaches in the game. Of course, Kevin would probably still prefer that I think of his acting first when I hear his name, but it sure beats thinking about meat for breakfast.
West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins and Friday Night Lights actor Brad Leland aka Buddy Garrity
Al Pacino Says Timothée Chalamet Should Play His Younger Self In ‘heat’ Sequel
The two guys are a lot alike, and after watching interviews with Huggins over the past few days, I’ve discovered that they act very similarly too. On the show, Leland, who plays Buddy Garrity, is as insufferable as he looks. I can’t decide whether to call him a nasty slob or a disgusting one, which is the same problem I run into when I try to describe Huggins. But at least Leland was just
A guy who made it into a TV show; Huggins, on the other hand, is like that in real life. I’m sorry you have to look like Bob, Brad… I’m really sorry.
Slicked-back hair, menacing eyes, and Italian last names are factors shared between the Louisville head coach and the blockbuster actor. (Wait, wait, they look so similar in the picture above that I forgot who is who. Okay, I get it). And between Pitino’s many basketball accomplishments and Pacino’s many acting awards, they also share another commonality: they have plenty of hardware to fill their houses.
Robert De Niro And Al Pacino Interview
Are we sure these two aren’t twins? Or maybe even the same person? The athletic Wisconsin lineman and famed Browns QB have been spitting images of each other, but luckily for Sam, that’s where the similarities end: Decker is headed to the Sweet 16, while Johnny Football has recently become Johnny Rehab.
I believe I have just introduced to you what will come to be known as the first triple venue in the history of local galleries. Honestly, check these guys out! Gottfried looks like himself, he looks like Rivers, and Rivers looks like Gottfried. I mean, it’s almost too much doppelganging for my brain to handle. At this point, however, Gottfried is definitely the happiest of the three: his team is in the Sweet 16, while Self’s team was just beaten by Wichita State. Rivers, meanwhile, apparently wants out of San Diego. So while they all look alike, Mark is clearly the most bubbly of the trio.
I have to say that I saved the best for last in this post. In fact, Kentucky’s Aaron Harrison couldn’t look more like his teammate Andrew if he tried. Not only that, but both guys play on the same team and have the same last name! Let me retract my comment about Manziel and Dekker looking like twins, because it definitely works better here. Six. How has no one made this connection before? Wake up America, you are stupid for missing this.

Joel and Ethan Coen, who were announced this week as joint jury presidents for this year’s Cannes Film Festival, have already demonstrated their ability to pick a winner.
Al Pacino On Leap To Tv For ‘hunters’ Amazon: It’s ‘kind Of Dangerous’
By giving little-known Oscar Isaac the title role in their 2013 film Inside Llewyn Davis, the brothers gave a jet-setting boost to a career that has continued to soar.
Isaac certainly doesn’t owe his recent success to his uncanny resemblance to a young Al Pacino, but in J.C. Chandor, slow-burning but fascinating, doesn’t hurt, helping to evoke The Godfather (1972) by Francis Ford Coppola and Sidney. Serpico de Lumet (1973).
Oscar Isaac’s performance in A Most Violent Year is reminiscent of a young Al Pacino performing in The Godfather and Serpico
This Epic Throwback Picture Of Gulshan Grover With Al Pacino Is Simply Unmissable
It’s not hard to see why some compare Isaac (left) to Pacino (right), both for his looks and his acting.
Of course, it’s not enough to look like Pacino; To properly deserve this comparison, Isaac must act like him. And he does. He has the same intensity, the same rare ability to convey a calm, yet inner turmoil.
