Zoodraws is a cute comic started earlier this year by New York-based artist Brian Ahern of Oneonta. Recently, an artist set out to illustrate lesser-known animal facts in a comparative way, such as using Scarface references, and the results are hilarious.
Brian says he has had an empathic eye for wildlife since he was a child. “Just knowing that a wolf spider carries hundreds of baby spiders on its back… wherever it goes… FOR SEVEN DAYS. Somebody buy that mother a drink!” joked the artist, “Or how unfair is it to call a group of crows ‘KILLER’?” Who decided this? It’s bad PR, they deserve better.”
The artist says his favorite thing about working at Zoodraws is the new knowledge he gets from studying animals. “It makes me happy to see so many readers around the world sharing the same sentiments while having a good laugh,” Brian said.
