? Of course. Who doesn’t? It is one of the best DC animated movies. What if I told you that you can watch it with a bad ending? Does it interest you? What if its running time was shortened to 30 minutes and you had the power to choose what the bad ending would be? Still nothing? Okay, I think this is going to be a tough sell.

See, that’s when I first heard about Warner’s idea for the first DC animated movie based on it
, I thought the idea was very clever. After all, the first story arc ended with fans voting on Jason Todd’s fate. The interactive feature is *kiss chef*. So what went wrong? You’ve probably heard that the folks at WB even brought The Cast back
It is the realization of an equally pure vision. Look, there’s a bit of valuable new here. The film consists mostly of re-purposed materials

And there are many times in the new parts where we don’t see any animation at all, but instead the sound layers of the still image. I wondered if my Blu-ray player was messed up or something, but no, it was just the laziness of the scene. And when we do get animation, it’s usually not that sophisticated and you can easily tell the original.

That the few options offered to us are not all conceivable. The fun of the different endings is emphasized

But now Jason is dressed as Hush for no good reason… funny. It’s fucked up! Sure, yes, we all remember the Loeb & Lee misunderstandings
Where we were first teased about Jason Todd’s possible resurrection, but wasting viewer choice on what is only a reference to that shocking opening page isn’t enough to make the decision legitimate. Anyway. And this option doesn’t offer any other branching narrative. Still… It’s not as tiring as most people say when playing it
Yes, one of the “7 different endings” (you have to choose “Batman Saves Robin” to get these extra endings) is just a replay

But with an endless layer of sound from Bruce Greenwood’s Batman. And as much as I love Greenwood’s Batman, he shouldn’t be this actor. Everything works like a Cliffsnotes version of an already really short film. I guess if you’re interested in hearing Greenwood read the Wikipedia plot summary
, you might like this, but it’s not for me. And no, there are no other stories to tell about the selection of “Robin Dies” — just listen to Greenwood’s drone on and on. Based on the information we are advertised to receive on this project, the film only offers one delivery option. A choice that feels like a real effort, and that’s “Batman saves Robin.”
If you choose “Batman saves Robin”, you will actually face more decisions and a story that combines loyalty to goodness! And so far, there are good things that redeem the experience that I would describe as “mockery”. All wisdom and love is hidden behind this choice. The other two don’t matter. I don’t mind what you get. I have already said that there is very little that is new in this film

. Are we still getting stills with voiceover? Unfortunately, yes. But there are also really great animated and creative works. Whether you’re looking for action with real stakes or dialogue with an emotional punch, you’ll find something in these spin-off stories that will stick with you, whether it’s a poignant image or heavy speech. I can honestly say that I had a lot of fun watching part of the movie “Batman Saves Robin”.
I won’t go into too much detail about the whole audio type because like I said, these are a lot of clips that show up
, and you already know this show is special. Thankfully, especially DiMaggio’s Joker, who gets some new and awesome scenes to work with here. And while it’s a shame to lose Ackles, Vincent Martella does a decent job portraying both Jason Todd’s downfall and redemption (whichever you choose). And Christopher Drake’s score is amazing and matches the great work he’s done in far, far more Batman movies and games than anyone else. Go see him. His own

Do not buy the digital version of this movie. Do not do it. While the Blu-ray is fully compatible, the digital distribution is an unedited, prepackaged version of the story, titled “Under the Red Hood: Reloaded.” So you see the update
It’s about 30 minutes long and you get a short summary of the show. To see the other three different “ways” you’ll need to visit Bonus Features, but here’s the catch: not all digital retailers offer bonus features with your purchase. And no matter where you buy the digital version, there’s about five minutes of extra content that will remain exclusive to Blu-ray. So DO NOT BUY THE DIGITAL VERSION OF THIS MOVIE.

But it’s been scaled down and repackaged in a subtle way that leaves you with a movie you’ll probably never watch again once the novelty of the selection wears off. You provide your own copy

It’s worth checking out (but only if you can find a place to borrow a physical copy), because the one spinoff story that got attention (Batman Saves Robin) is full of original ideas, shocking surprises, and emotionally rewarding moments. A Death in the Family is a four-part story written by Jim Starlin and illustrated by Jim Aparo. This story was published in 1988’s Batman (Volume 1) and is the most shocking development in the Batman mythos, when Jason Todd, the second Robin, dies at the hands of Batman’s arch-nemesis, the Joker.
The story is controversial in many ways, as it was the result of a social experiment by the producers of the Batman comics and their audience, where people would have the final say on Robin’s fate. Audiences chose Boy Wonder’s death and as a result, the popular character left comics, bringing shock and dark elements to the entire comic book industry.
Jason Todd’s relationship with Batman turned sour as his battles with criminals nearly led to his own death. Batman decided to relieve Jason of Robin’s duties so that he could mourn the death of his parents. That pissed Jason off and he left not wanting to talk about his parents.
