I like to think of most of these options as appetizers. What does it mean? These products are great options for variety and taste. But on its own, it’s usually not a complete, balanced meal. I could keep other easy options on hand to add to my meal such as a variety of frozen vegetables, protein like hamburger/patty, cooked shrimp and chicken strips, and whole grains like mixed rice.

When I think of frozen dinners I don’t usually think of pasta, but TJ’s has great frozen pasta that is delicious and quick! I was deciding between spaghetti cacio e pepe or fettuccine and mushrooms and ended up with cacio e pepe because it had more protein and less sodium.
A chicken burrito bowl can be an easy lunch option on the go. But it works great for dinner too! Online reviews compare it to the Chipotle Burrito Bowl. I wouldn’t say it’s quite like that. But full of cheese and flavor. It reminds me of some of our recipes like 1 Pot Mexican Quinoa and Fiesta Rice.
