Easter Basket Ideas – Easter is coming and we are excited! This is one of my favorite holidays because we get to celebrate the Resurrection and spend time with family. Not to mention all the beautiful colors and flowers.
I have a 20-year-old son, a 19-year-old daughter, a 17-year-old daughter, a 14-year-old son, and a 9-year-old son. As adults, they plan to bring in Easter baskets.

So this year I teamed up with Makey’s Grocery Store in Pleasant Grove, Utah and came up with some great Easter basket ideas for teens.

I couldn’t believe that the Poppies were going for Easter. We found their favorite Easter candy and more! One thing that impressed me was the selection of Easter eggs. They even had an 8” Easter egg to fit a large gift. It was very difficult to decide which eggs to buy.
With everything going on with COVID-19, I thought I’d make my kids’ Easter baskets this year more practical, but still fun. That’s why we’ve come up with some great Easter basket ideas for teenage girls and boys alike. Below you will see a photo of the walk.
Let’s start with our teenage girls. They love trying new hair products, so we bought them what they wanted to try.

Now that looks like the basket I want! I know my girls will love them! These cute purple plastic bins are also from Makey and kids can use them to organize their rooms. Victory, victory!
Our boys are another story. It’s harder for them to shop. but I think we did pretty well.
I think they will love the metal camping flashlight and my older son will keep it in his car for safety.

My nine-year-old son is still young and wants toys, so we added a few more fun things to his basket.
In addition to what my older son got, my nine-year-old got an electric toothbrush (which he always wants) and a Dino Smash set. Also, instead of EOS Chapstick, she got a black panther lipstick to attach to her backpack when she goes back to school.
I have a little tip for you on how to easily fill eggs with candy for an Easter egg hunt. We put the candy on our bed and collect the candy with the lower part of the egg. It’s so easy and fast! So, here’s your advice from a regular mom.

We added Troll eggs and some butterfly eggs to these plastic eggs and will hide them on Sunday morning. We usually hunt for Easter eggs as a family on Saturday and hide a few eggs around the house on Sunday, including one golden egg per child for $5. Children love this tradition.
