Flooring At Sams Club – When you’re building, remodeling, or just remodeling a home, there’s always one thing that can make or break the look of a room. This is the FLOOR.
Over the past 13 years, we’ve changed many homes, and in doing so, we’ve found some products we love!
Flooring At Sams Club
While redoing a foreclosure house, we got flooring from an unexpected place, Sam’s Club! We had looked at a lot of flooring places and this was our favorite so after reading the reviews we took a chance and decided to give it a go!
Where To Find The Best Laminate Flooring On A Budget
ALL OF YOU. We really liked it. It was easy to install, super budget friendly and beautiful…all in one. It was a winning combination! We never once regretted using Select Faces.
Fast forward a few years later as we were building our forever home (the one we are in NOW, finally! Whoa hoo!)
We knew we wanted laminate flooring. It was the best fit for our family and our needs. It was never discussed at all. We knew the durability would hold up to the wear and tear we knew our family would need! So what did I do? I checked Select Surfaces again for our flooring needs. It was my first choice because I already knew how good their products were!
Heritage Oak Waterproof Laminate
At this point I was very surprised to see that their floor was the best! They had more color options, improved thickness and moisture resistance, and more (check out their website HERE and see for yourself!). I was sold once again.
You may remember that I went straight to my Facebook page asking for YOUR opinion on what color I should use in my new home…and giving away a $500 Sam’s Club gift card? You all thought the SAME AS I did… and we all agreed that DRIFTWOOD was the best choice.
I absolutely could not be happier! It has been the perfect choice for my home! We actually used it in EVERY area of our house except the bathroom and where we used the brick floor (kitchen, entryway, and laundry room). I wanted to share a photo of our living room so you can see for yourself how beautiful the floor is. As I finish decorating more and more rooms, you will continue to see more pictures!!
Select Surfaces Flooring Sams Club
So if you are looking to remodel your home OR if you are building your dream home, I can say with 100% honesty, I would recommend Select Faces all day…every day. You can check online at their website or go to your local Sam’s Club (or shop online). They make it SUPER easy for you!
If you want to see the actual floor I have, you can go here! DRIFTWOOD CHOOSE YOUR HOME Some of the most frequently asked questions on The Yellow Cape Cod are about my Sams Club flooring. Three years ago, we installed Select Surfaces Canyon Oak laminate flooring from Sams Club on the lower level of our home (you can read about it here ).
Just a few months ago we went back to Sams for more Select Faces laminate (this time in Cocoa Walnut) and installed it upstairs (you can read about it here ).
Select Surfaces Laminate Flooring Reviews: Is It Worth It?
Since I posted about this change, I’ve received hundreds of questions from readers. Rather than continue to answer one by one, I thought it would be more appropriate to create a blog post to answer the most frequently asked questions. Please note that the answers below are 100% honest based on my humble opinion and experience.
I use a dry broom or Swiffer for daily cleaning. For further cleaning, use a damp cloth and hot water/vinegar solution. We have also used a laminate floor cleaner which also works well.
Compared to real, solid, hardwood, the floors have a different tone. However, compared to other laminate products I have experienced, there is very little sound or click. We haven’t had any problems with them being too noisy, even after putting them upstairs.
Costco Vs. Sam’s Club Hot Dog: Everything You Should Know
They have held up wonderfully. After three years of use, I am very satisfied with the quality. I feel like they have become a constant choice for our working family. They also have a timeless, authentic hardwood look that complements our home design style.
This is a difficult question to answer. I love both equally even though there are differences. Canyon Oak is not as dark as Cocoa Walnut so it has less dirt/dust. However, the dark color of the cocoa walnut is absolutely beautiful. Canyon Oak has a red undertone, while Cocoa Walnut is more of a dark brown with a light ash tone. Stylistically, the Canyon Oak planks are flush with each other, while the Cocoa Walnut planks have a raised edge that creates a slight gap between the planks. Canyon Oak is brighter with more wood grain patterns than Cocoa Walnut which has a smoother and more attractive finish.
I didn’t use laminate on the stairs, but I did put it on the deck. Here is a blog post about the stairs, please click here.
Sam’s Club To Put Robot Floor Scrubbers In Every Store By Fall
Our floors were professionally installed by our in-house flooring expert Gordy Cook of Design Floor Covering. Gordy followed the manufacturer’s instructions on the box. It was quick and Gordy and his team had no issues during the process.
When I originally installed Canyon Oak flooring, it was NOT a sponsored project. After sharing my experience with The Yellow Cape Cod with you, I was overwhelmed by the response from readers who told me they had installed them based on my review. It didn’t take long for the folks at Select Faces to notice as well, so I was given the opportunity to provide a sponsored product review for Cocoa Walnut. Although I received a free product from the Cocoa Walnut post, my positive feedback and satisfaction with the product is the same as my original all-natural Canyon Oak post.
Taking into account all the circumstances; appearance, durability and price; These floors are perfect for our lifestyle. We love how they have transformed our home and would install it again in a heartbeat.
