Halloween Cookie Decorating Ideas
Carefully follow the steps in the printable recipe below. The dough is sticky and you can use cocoa powder when rolling/working the dough. (I use this for shaped chocolate chip cookies!) To prevent the cookies from spreading too much, chill the cookie dough in the refrigerator. After preparing the dough, roll it up and put it in the fridge. 🇧🇷 I divide the dough into two pieces before rolling them out because smaller pieces of dough are more manageable.

The frosting darkens when left in a pastry bag and dried on the baking sheet before use. It comes in many colors, especially red and black. When I make black icing, it’s usually a bluish gray in the jar and icing bag, becoming a dark shade of black as it dries. Do not use food coloring, as the color will deepen as the frosting dries.
