Hebrews 11 1 Tattoo

Hebrews 11 1 Tattoo – Faith, hope and love; it’s what i’m made of. Everyone has faith, whether they realize it or not. Even atheists have faith, it may be faith in “nothing” per se, but it is faith nonetheless. Farmers believe that the seeds they put in the soil will grow. We ALL have faith. 1 Corinthians 13:13. “Three things will last forever – faith, hope and love – and the greatest of these is love.” It is the last verse in a series of poems about love. I’ve always loved it, it’s always tugged at my heartstrings.

I have faith. It is the foundation of my faith, it IS my faith! It is the essence of who I am! So I put it on my neck. The neck is the trunk of our being, everything is connected there, it is our base, our core. I believe in everything, I believe in hope, I believe in love, I believe in my spirituality and I believe in myself. In Hebrews 11:1, faith is defined as follows: “Now faith is the substance of hope, the evidence of the invisible.” If we don’t have faith that the seeds we plant in the ground will grow or that the sun will shine tomorrow, then we have nothing.

I have hope. Hope and faith are very similar, but also different. Faith is belief, but hope is a feeling. You can have hope without faith, but that is just wishful thinking. My friend Beth pointed out that “Hope without action is meaningless, so it’s only fitting that it rests in my right hand, also known as the dominant one.” Hope and faith work hand in hand. (Wow, looking at my wrist, I didn’t mean that pun!)  I even have faith and hope for love. My love life, it’s complicated. But I hope that everything will go as it should, and I believe that it will. It is interesting that faith is on my neck and connects love and hope. My tattoos seem to reveal more about themselves every day.

I have love. I have a lot of love in my life. I have a wonderful family, for better or for worse, we always love each other. Not all of us, but most of us, why, because sometimes love is your decision. I have the most adorable nieces in the world, Taylor and Olivia. Brand new nephew Connor. I have two little brothers who I have learned SO much from, they are a blessing to our family. I may not say it much or talk about them much, but the little guys have taught me so much about life and love.

I could go on forever about my endless belief in faith, hope and love, but I think that’s it for now.

FYI, I AM NOT 100% happy with the ink. I had them done at a store in Hopewell Junction NY. The first session was a disaster, after waiting for FOUR HOURS (and I booked an appointment) when she started the girl kept saying oh my god I’m SO tired…and she was so messed up!!!!! Then I had to go back again for her to finish them. My hands looked exactly how I wanted them, although she had to go too deep with the needle causing scarring and the ink they used didn’t turn black at all. It has completely faded. And my neck.. oh I don’t even want to start how messed up my neck is!!! But maybe this is a lesson that faith is not perfect? 😉Christianity is one of the most popular religions we know in the world today. It is so popular because it is becoming one of the most important aspects in people’s lives today. It loves everything they do and whatever decisions they make right from the morning until they hit the sacks. The most important teaching in Christianity is to be kind, from going to church on Sunday and saying grace before meals to treating everyone with respect and love and following a code of conduct. In this way, Christianity becomes a part of life, but a way of life.

So for a constant reminder of what your religion preaches, there’s nothing better than a tattoo of a Bible verse etched into your skin. You can choose your favorite or most inspiring Bible verse to ensure that God is always in His grace.

While tattoos were once a part of the alternate future, Christianity hardly suits them. But in today’s world, this is changing. As a result, even Christians are having fun getting a tattoo to represent their faith. There are endless choices, especially when it comes to getting tattoos. While Exodus and Corinthians seem to be the first choice for Christians, many may be afraid of John and Luke. You can also with Rveealation or some e-Roman numbers. Another good idea is to throw in some verses against tattoos or body modification for a little irony!

There are at least 5 scriptures that are most important and will help us decipher what God is really saying about tattoos or any body modification. Here is a list of these Bible quotes with an explanation below.

Hebrews 11 1 Tattoo

When you put all these 5 verses together and study what God is trying to tell you, God’s meaning can become very clear to you. Let’s start with:

1. The first verse belongs to Leviticus in the Old Testament. Here God showed His elect souls what they could and could not do in their personal relationship and communication with Him. Although God has given them a set of laws and a beginning, He wants them to diligently observe each one so as not to deviate from a life of virtue. The first verse isolates any form of body modification or “flesh cutting”, which can also refer to the body piercings that people get today.

In the past, many people had the ritual and custom of marking their bodies with various types of clips and tattoos to mourn the dead and welcome the dead. God also refers to such forms of practice with his first verse.

God, the Father of religion, made it clear to His people that they should not engage in such activities. Note that God uses the word “any” tattoos and “any” cuts in the skin. He was clearly strict on these matters. Therefore, according to this article, no grafts or tattoos of any kind, shape or form have been placed anywhere on their skin. These wordings indicate that one should not only abstain from death, but also for other reasons.

Hebrews 11 1 Tattoo

These people were called “the elect” for a reason. They were God’s special people who had to be different from the rest of the world and the way normal people do things. This is specifically against any kind of pagan practice that was still part of their normal society.

If God didn’t want His special people to cut their flesh back then, He probably wouldn’t want any tattoos or cuts on people today either, Old Testament vs. New Testament. This brings us to the second verse.

Hebrews 11 1 Tattoo

2. In this second verse above, Jesus himself explains to us that he did not come to break the laws of his Father and the saints. He says that these rules and commandments are still being tested until “all things are fulfilled,” a reference to when we will get the new heavens and the new earth after the 1,000 year millennium.

This can be seen in his words: “until heaven and earth pass away.” These verses tell us exactly what will happen when we get the new heavens and the new earth mentioned in Revelation. Until the new heavens and new earth come, we must wait for this glorious event to take place until we have to keep all the old commandments given by God himself. By this, he is clearly saying that the 10 commandments are still valid and must be obeyed even today.

Unless the New Testament specifically excludes some key laws and commands on this subject from the Old Testament, I think we have to believe that God still wants us all to obey them. Because the Bible
