How long you want to cook your eggs depends on how you want to cook the eggs and the size of the eggs. It can also depend on how long the water boils, which can vary depending on the size of the pot (and how much water is in the pot) and how much heat is under the pot. I recommend experimenting with cooking times to find the time that gives you a perfectly cooked egg.
If you cook eggs for more than 12 minutes, the eggs are usually overcooked. If your curds are chalky or green around the edges, they are overcooked.
As shown in the comparison photo, eggs prepared for 8 and 12 minutes are very similar. There is little difference in the content of the yolks with 12 minute yogurts that are firmer and less creamy.

Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs (easy To Peel)
First, if possible, take the eggs out of the refrigerator 10 minutes before cooking to warm them up a bit. This will prevent the shells from cracking when you put cold eggs in boiling hot water.
Once added to the pot, you want to choose a pot large enough to allow the eggs to sit in a single layer. Then put the pot on high heat and boil the water.
While the water is boiling, slowly lower the eggs into the pot to cook. Leave on high heat and do not cover the pot. If your eggs boil too much, you can reduce the heat to medium-high.
How To Make The Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs
Once the eggs are in the pan, immediately set the timer based on how you want the eggs to be cooked – see the picture above for cooking times.
Then prepare a large ice bath while the eggs are boiling. When the timer goes off, immediately place the eggs in the ice bath and let them cool in the ice bath for 10 minutes.
I personally feel comfortable eating hard-boiled eggs 7 days after they are cooked, as long as they have been refrigerated during this time.

Everyone I talk to seems to have their own way of making the perfect hard-boiled egg, so I decided to find out how many methods there are and whether they make a huge difference in the end product.
