King Charles Iii Of Spain – Charles III of Spain is the third surviving son of the first Bourbon King of Spain, Philip V, and Elizabeth Farnese. The descendants of Charles III of Spain are numerous. He grew up in Madrid until the age of 16, he belonged to the Italian Sovereign Duchy of Parma and Piaca, which was considered his birthright by his mother, Elisabeth of Parma. Karel married only once, to the cultured Saxon princess Maria Amalia, with whom he had 13 children; 8 of them reached adulthood (most died young of smallpox) and only 4 of them had a problem.
Charles’ younger son would found the House of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, while his younger brother would found the House of Bourbon-Parma.
King Charles Iii Of Spain
The future Charles III (Real Alcázar de Madrid, Madrid, Kingdom of Spain, 20 January 1716 – Royal Palace of Madrid, Madrid, Kingdom of Spain, 14 December 1788) was king of Spain and the Spanish Indies from 1759 until his death in 1788.

The eldest son of Philip V of Spain and his second wife, Princess Elisabeth of Parma, became Duke of Parma and Piaca under the name of Charles I (after the death of his uncle Antonio Farnese); later, in 1734, he conquered the kingdoms of Naples and Sicily as Duke of Parma and was thus named King of Naples and Sicily by personal union; he ruled under the simple name of Charles without definitive numbering, although time made him Charles VII of Naples and Charles V of Sicily. In Sicily he was known as Charles III of Sicily and of Jerusalem; with the ordinal III instead of V because the Sicilians did not recognize the righteous or Charles I of Naples (Charles d’Anjou), against whom they revolted, as their sovereign, nor the emperor Charles, who promptly was released from the island. He was crowned King of Naples and Sicily on 3 July 1735 in Palermo, Sicily.
After becoming King of Spain by default, he left the Neapolitan and Sicilian kingdoms to his third surviving son, the later Ferdinand IV of Naples; Ferdinand III of Sicily; Ferdinand would witness the rise of the future Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, where Karel’s descendants would rule until 1861.
