Mcdonald Big Mac Nutrition Facts – If you’re new here, the most important thing I want to say is that you can eat whatever you want, regardless of your goals.
Even if your goal is to lose weight, I want you to understand that there are no limits.
Mcdonald Big Mac Nutrition Facts
I like to put together nutrition guides like these (check out the Chick-fil-A Nutrition Guide or Wendy’s Nutrition Guide for more examples) to show you what to expect when ordering.
Calories In Mcdonald’s Big Mac (plain) And Nutrition Facts
You might not think of McDonald’s as the best food, but when you break it down into McDonald’s food and calories, you’ll see that it’s not as “bad” as you first thought!
Of course, what you consider to be healthy or unhealthy food depends entirely on your goals and personal preferences.
If you’re on a protein-rich diet and hoping for grilled chicken, you’ll be disappointed with McDonald’s options. But that doesn’t mean you can’t still get good food at McDonald’s!

If a low-carb or keto diet is your style, traditional diets don’t have many options for you, but you can check out this guide from Joe Duff for good keto options.
One thing to note is that as of this writing, McDonald’s does not serve salads. It’s not very common in fast food (Five Guys doesn’t serve salads), but it seems that most fast food restaurants offer salads to accommodate people who want to eat healthier.
At one time, McDonald’s offered many different salads, such as the Premium Bacon Ranch Salad or the Premium Southwest Salad, but we are waiting to see if they will return.
Big Mac Sauce Recipe (copycat)
If salad is something you want to grab the next time you go out, I recommend checking out Chick-fil-A, Burger King, or even Taco Bell.
Note: If you are concerned about specific items such as sodium, sugar, trans fat, or saturated fat, please visit the McDonald’s website for nutrition facts.
Whether you want to keep it simple with a hamburger or go with half a pound (half a pound, so to speak), there’s a burger on the McDonald’s menu for you.
Mcdonald’s Will Launch All Day Breakfast On Oct. 6
It is worth noting that these hamburgers include all the toppings (ketchup and mustard) and American cheese (except for the hamburgers, which do not contain cheese, of course). Salad usually adds 10-20 calories to a sandwich and cheese 50 calories.
A McDonald’s Big Mac has 550 calories, which is much less than I expected. Between the sesame bread, cheese, and special sauce, it’s easy to guess that the Big Mac’s calories will be high. But at 550 calories, the Big Mac’s calories are lower than the Whopper’s 100 calories.
One of McDonald’s staples over the years has been the McChicken sandwich, which you may be surprised to find contains only 14 grams of protein. At 400 calories, you’d expect the McChicken to have more protein, but since it’s chicken patties, not chicken breast, it’s lower in protein.
The Nutrition Facts On Trump’s Mcdonald’s Order
If you’re looking for more protein, McChicken now has it with a few new chicken sandwiches, all of which have 27 grams of protein.
A single hamburger from McDonald’s is the same as any fast food burger out there. For reference, a hamburger from Burger King has 240 calories, 10 grams of fat, 26 grams of carbohydrates and 13 grams of protein. Very similar!
A serving of a McDonald’s Cheeseburger is 300 calories, 13 grams of fat, 32 grams of carbohydrates and 15 grams of protein. We can estimate that each slice of cheese based on a hamburger diet adds 50 calories, 4g of fat, 1g of carbohydrates and 3g of protein.
Home Made Mcdonald’s Big Mac Sauce Recipe
It’s no surprise that this huge half-pound burger tops the charts in terms of calories, but it’s also packed with the most protein. At 740 calories and 48 grams of protein, this may be the best calorie-to-protein ratio, but it’s the highest.
It might surprise you that the Big Mac isn’t the top choice here. That’s because the size of the Big Mac is due to the extra budget in the middle, and you don’t even get a quarter pound of beef!
The beef patty is thicker than the bun due to its high fat content, resulting in fewer calories in the Big Mac.
Ingredients Used In Mcdonald’s Usa Popular Menu Items
One of McDonald’s new dishes is the crispy chicken sandwich, which is McDonald’s answer to Popeye and Chick-fil-A when the chicken sandwich wars started a few years ago. If you want to increase your protein intake without going overboard on calories, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich is the perfect choice!
McDonald’s breakfast is great. Aside from the food, they have the fastest breakfast out there (in my opinion…and probably in Ronald McDonald’s opinion).
As much as I hate to admit it, I absolutely love McGriddles. I’m Team Waffles forever, but Pancake Pancakes makes perfect bread.
Big Mac Attack.
Pair it with a brownie (or 20 of them… these things are so addictive) and an iced coffee and you have a great breakfast.
The breakfast menu at McDonald’s changes from time to time (we’re still waiting for the bagels to come back), but this is the entire breakfast menu available for this post.
Personally, I hope Egg White Delight makes a comeback because it’s a great breakfast option, low in calories and high in protein.
Low Carb Keto Mcdonalds (top 7 Orders!)
The Classic Egg McMuffin is one of the lowest calorie breakfast options you’ll find out there. Check out the picture I made below that compares the different options out there (the Egg McMuffin calories went up 10 times after I made this picture, but it still works!)
McDonald’s offered the Egg White Delight McMuffin, which was lower in calories and higher in protein, but was discontinued in 2019.
It’s called a big breakfast for a reason, and this thing packs in over 1,300 calories! The big breakfast includes hot biscuits, hot sausage, hard-boiled eggs, brownies and 3 pancakes with butter and maple syrup. In other words: have everything!
Mcdonald’s Big Mac Nutrition, Glycemic Index, Calories, Net Carbs & More
If calories are a concern, you might not order a big breakfast, but it’s very filling.
With 21 grams of protein, the Sausage McMuffin with Egg is McDonald’s highest protein breakfast option. Although it has about 500 calories, if you are looking for maximum protein, it is definitely a worthy choice.
If you want more money, the regular Egg McMuffin is still a better option. Although it has less protein at 17g, it is only 310 calories.
Apple Ipad Mini Featuring
McDonald’s fries are undoubtedly some of the best out there, and they are low in calories compared to other options. Check out this French Fries recipe comparison I put together to see how these fries stack up:
This guide compares average fries, which can vary in size depending on where you order (we’re looking at you, five guys), but gives us a general idea.
If you order a Happy Meal, the size you see on the menu is “Kids’ Fries”.
Mcdonald’s Big Macs Contain Less Calories Than ‘healthy’ Sushi Lunch Boxes Sold On The High Street
When it comes to Chicken McNuggets, you have the option to order a small portion of 4 or up to 40. If you order 40 McNuggets, it may not be eligible for a side, but we will still do it. consider yourself in this category.
When it comes to desserts, you might not order them “healthy,” and that’s okay. These are gifts indeed.
I won’t compare the lowest calorie and the highest calorie here because the variation is obvious in size (the small cookie is obviously the lowest calorie and the large shake is definitely the highest calorie).
Mcdonald’s Land, Air And Sea Burger Should Come With A Warning
When it comes to fast food, there are always things that go in and out of the food.
As of this writing, McDonald’s has a limited-time “hack” menu that includes the Hash Brown McMuffin, the Crunchy Double, the Surf + Turf, and the Land, Air and Sea Sandwich.
The Land, Air and Sea Sandwich combines Big Mac, McChicken and Filet-O-Fish. No wonder it has over 1,300 calories!
Mcdonalds Trayliner Placemat
McDonald’s also tested the new McPlant sandwich, a plant-based burger with Beyond Meat. With 510 calories, 27 grams of fat, 45 grams of carbohydrates and 22 grams of protein, it’s less impressive than the beef option. But if you follow a plant-based diet, this could be a great option for you!
And of course, you can’t talk about McDonald’s seasonal items without mentioning the Shamrock Shake. Basically the recipe is the same as the Vanilla & Chocolate Shake
