Most Beautiful Waterfalls Every State – One of the things that always takes my breath away is waterfalls in the US. Wait. Scratch that around the world. I made it my goal to stop at as many as possible, even the smallest ones. I think it all started when I was about 7 or 8 years old when my grandparents took me to see Niagara Falls. We spend a few days in the surroundings, and a whole day at the waterfalls.
I remember watching my grandfather at the lookout and just staring at the waterfall. He didn’t say much at the time, but that day I realized how amazing they really are. We had lunch by the waterfall and took pictures near the American and Kandija waterfalls.

In August 2016, on the 10th anniversary of my grandfather’s death, we spent the day at Niagara Falls as a family. We saw the falls, went on a bus tour, had lunch right next to the falls, took a dip in the Candian Falls and spent a day in wonder. I think it was the perfect way to honor him.

I absolutely believe that Niagara Falls is the most beautiful waterfall I have ever seen in my life and possibly the best waterfall in the US, but below I want to share 5 others that should also be on your list!
Located in Yosemite National Park, it is one of the tallest waterfalls in the world, consisting of three separate falls, including Upper Yosemite Falls (1,430 feet), Middle Falls (675 feet), and Lower Yosemite Falls (320 feet).
The great thing about Yosemite Falls is that you can hike the one mile loop to the base of Lower Yosemite Falls and snap a picture with the falls cascading behind you. If you’re more of a hiker, head to Upper Falls to see the falls in all their glory.

Just 45 minutes east of Portland you’ll find the incredibly beautiful Multnomah Falls. These falls may be shorter at 627 meters, but with the surrounding greenery and flowers, it is truly a remarkable place.
You can stay at the base of the falls or climb up to two different platforms. It is steep, so make sure you have enough water and good hiking shoes. At the top you can see the cascading falls and then take the path to the left to hang on a moss covered bridge.
Next time you’re in Pennsylvania, take a side trip to Bushkill Falls in the Pocono Mountains. It’s private land and you have to pay an entrance fee, but it’s worth it. There are eight waterfalls in the forest, all connected by hiking trails and wooden bridges.

In June, stop what you’re doing and head to Glacier National Park in Montana. When they open the Path to the Sun for the season, you should be on it. This is the only road that goes through the park and winds into the mountains.
What is spectacular about this drive is that there are more than 100 waterfalls in this few hours drive! High, impressive waterfalls and others that appear from nowhere in the rocks to others that you can drive under! Definitely a must visit place if you want to see the falls!

Take a short hike to Mingo Falls early in the morning. It is a 120 feet high waterfall that is surrounded by beautiful flowers and mountains. It’s easy to get to and great for the whole family to enjoy.
