I’ve visited MANY must-see waterfalls in Bali, so below I’ll walk you through my guide to the best Bali waterfalls to visit on your next trip.
Best Waterfall In Bali
This is the best waterfall in Bali if you want to have fun! Basically Aling Aling has a sea of waterfalls and you go in with a guide and jump off the cliffs into the falls. There’s even a natural waterfall slide that looks amazing. I rarely jump off the cliffs into the falls (unless I’m feeling brave) but Bradley did it in no time and I got a lot of really cool pictures of him having fun!
You can easily spend a whole day enjoying this waterfall, so don’t rush. I’ve made a whole guide for visiting Aling Aling Waterfall but there are a few things to keep in mind:
It’s in north Bali so you’ll need to get a driver or rent a moped and drive yourself and I suggest you stay north at night so you can visit some of the other cool waterfalls in Bali north.
The Best Waterfalls In Ubud
This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Bali. I remember seeing pictures of it on Instagram and thinking wow I have to visit this! It’s a cold waterfall that cascades over some rocks so it makes a very pretty picture when you climb the rocks.
A few things to note, it’s a hill and it can be slippery. So if you have water shoes bring them as you can easily cut your feet riding in the water and on the rocks.
We went with our friends and a fun story, we asked brother brad to take a picture of us, lets ride the waterfall and see an area where nobody else gets shot and basically fall asleep completely in the picture. I miss the point of having the waterfall in the background so the picture isn’t good haha.

It’s been many years since I visited this waterfall in Bali, but I still have good memories. It was the first waterfall we visited in Bali and it was very refreshing. There are changing rooms here, which are useful if you don’t have your bathing suit on. And you will want to swim here, it’s great!
The waterfall is really strong so the challenge is to stay under it without getting carried away (you won’t go very far!), It’s a very cool and refreshing place. But you are very busy!

Git Git Waterfall is a very cold waterfall in Bali, located in the northern part of the island. It’s very easy to visit, requiring only a short drive through many (many) souvenir shops along the way.
Now if you park for git git it’s free but you’ll have two people telling you you need a guide because git git is “hard to find” and will support the system – local matter etc etc. , then they tell you something amazing like $30. It’s a scam, it really is and there’s no need for it. You can easily find GitGit and support the local economy by buying something from the stores.

Sekumpul is one of Bali’s most famous waterfalls and one of my favourites. It’s in the north of the island, so you’ll either have to use a moped or hire a driver to take you there. But it’s totally worth it!
When you visit you have two options: you can visit the viewpoint and see from above, or you can take one of the tour options and go under the waterfall (and even visit the nearby Fiji Waterfall).

This waterfall is located on the island of Nusa Penida, so it takes some skill to get a boat! Nusa Penida is full of beautiful places to visit and you can see them all in one day if you take an excursion, but if you’re in the islands for a few days (like Brad and I) then you should Visit Peguyangan Waterfall.
Well, the way down to this waterfall is basically via stairs that take you down the cliff, so it’s narrow. The walk back is killer in the heat so take your time!

This waterfall is “weak” but it’s the pools to relax and swim in that really make it, oh and the amazing views of the ocean and blue waters that surround it. I suggest you pack a lunch, make your way down, relax and take a dip in the pool, eat something and then head back!
Entry was 10,000 IDR when we visited and around 3,000 to park the moped. You also have to wear a sarong and I don’t remember if they charged us. The waterfall is also a religious temple area.

Sekumpul Waterfall — Review
I honestly had never heard of this waterfall before visiting and the only reason I visited was as part of a ForeverVacation Bali Instagram tour. It’s such a good find and one of the best waterfalls in Bali thanks to the light that shines through the cave giving you a really good photo opportunity. Plus, our private tour guide was great at taking photos and knowing the best angles!
This is one of my favorite waterfalls in Bali simply because of how the pictures turn out. It’s not a heavy waterfall, it’s a simple waterfall with a unique feature!
