That’s unheard of for a band known for churning out tons of new material each year. Part of the reason for the delay was signing a contract with an independent label owned by a manager they had lost all faith in them. As Lemmy explained in his autobiography White Line Fever, “That’s when we knew that whatever we did for the new album, it wasn’t going to be on GWR.
