You feel good when you leave this person. Thrusters are people who push you to be a better person. You are challenged to change when you leave this person. The burdens are the people who bring you the weight of their problems. They spend most of their time solving their problems. And drags are people who drag you down to their level. You spend time blaming your victimhood while being convinced that you don’t want all the people, places, and things that bring “problems” into your life.
Ironically, in some of my most difficult times, I am often surrounded by weights and tugs and insufficient lifts and thrusters in my life. I lost a lot of people telling me what I needed to hear instead of hearing what I wanted to hear and supporting me along the way.
