Today I will take you on a short tour of our home. I used to go even more “all out” on Halloween than I do now, but I just don’t have the time or energy for it. Here is an example of the outside of our house BEFORE the kids arrived. I made these spooky ghost girls and it was so long ago that I don’t even remember how I made them. The next year, Raley was born and the ghostly ghostly girls were never seen again.

For years I started our flower bed in a small cemetery. I found these headstones in a bulk package for $15 at Walmart a few years ago. I definitely got my money and it’s probably time for a new set since they’ve come out over the years, but inflation has hit the fake headstones along with almost everything else in our economy so I can’t get myself to buy another. They are more expensive and there are not as many of them in the package as before.

Last year I was going through the Halloween decorations on clearance at Target and found a large inflatable Jack Skellington hiding in the back of one of the shelves. The only other place in the house we decorate is the bar in our kitchen. I’m obsessed with skulls, which is why you’ll find them scattered throughout this area. I found these little long stemmed pumpkins at Kroger and LOVE them. they are so beautiful
