Do you want to know about all the different bosses of the Ring of Elden and their locations? By our count, there are 238 boss encounters in FromSoftware’s open-world masterpiece. With so many bosses hiding in every nook and cranny of the Lands Between, it’s easy to play through the game without realizing you’re missing out on some of the Elden Ring’s most spectacular and memorable boss encounters.

Using the maps below, you can easily locate all the Elden Ring bosses in each area. I’ve marked each boss on the right side of the maps, and I’ve also noted which enemies are particularly difficult. Which of them appear only at night. And they can only be found by following certain search lines. If you have any questions or think we’ve missed a boss, let us know in the comments below!
With such a dizzying number of boss encounters available to players in Elden Ring, it can be confusing to figure out the order in which FromSoftware intended you to fight them. The truth is: there are no clear orders from the boss. The beauty of the open world is that you can go and fight whoever you want, in whatever order you want.
But if you want to follow a list of actual boss commands, here are our recommended boss commands for the game’s essential and important bosses.

There are obviously a lot more bosses in the game, but it’s a bit silly to try to command them, since the point is simply to try to fight them, and if they’re already too hard for you. Government, you can go somewhere else and fight something else.

Ministry Of State Security (china)
The first boss you encounter in Elden Ring is a transplanted spawn, which should kill you upon your first steps into the waiting church. What you may not realize is that you can actually return to this location and challenge the Scion to a rematch by retrieving the embedded sword key to the third tallest of the four bell towers on the west shore of Liurnia Of The Lakes.
Linked Splint is one of the worst early-game Elden Ring bosses, with multiple hands allowing for long broadsword attack combos. Either use a large shield to dodge these attacks before they hit, or be able to hit from behind when dodging his attacks.
Players starting the new Elden Ring game will most likely encounter Godric’s soldier in the Cave of Knowledge. This swordsman is barely any harder than the standard soldiers you’ll encounter in Limgrave, so he’s not a boss at all. But I mention it here for completeness.
Genshin Impact: All Mysterious Clipboard Treasure Chest Locations
Beach Cave is probably the easiest dungeon in Elden Ring, located on the west coast after you first set foot in Limgrave. Lastly are the demi-human heads – two fairly strong demi-humans who can still be easily defeated by distracting them with soul ash and dealing with them one at a time.
The Burial Tree Guardian, found at the end of Stormfoot’s crypts, likes to hover in the air and stomp on your head. However, his attack patterns are easy to understand and his health pool is very low, so this boss should be a piece of cake compared to later encounters.
Azula Farm’s Wild Beast can be found in the Grove Side Cave, lurking for wolves. He is nasty looking with a nimble curved sword and likes long combos. Fortunately, he has low HP and is easy to take on, making for an easy boss fight.

Stonedigger Troll may look powerful, but with the right setup (ie, magical setup) he’s a wizard. He lives at the bottom of the Limgrave Tunnel dungeon, and while his attacks hurt if they land, it’s easy to get out of range and hit him with spells.
You have to fight your way through a nasty little dungeon of outlaws hiding around corners to get to the Duelist Grave Warden. But it’s actually not that bad when you get help from the ashes of your soul. Even after he’s buffed, he doesn’t hit terribly well and his attacks are easily blocked and destroyed with a shield.
Bloodfinger Nerius can give you a bit of trouble at first if you’re caught off guard. He appears as you cross the bridge from Lake Agel upriver and attacks you with a combination of melee and blood attacks. Fortunately, if you survive long enough, a mysterious stranger will come to your aid.

An inside joke for many Forumsoft veterans, Patch is a simple mercenary boss who surrenders after taking enough damage. You can find him at the end of the very short dungeon, Seawater Cave – but it’s important to find him, because if you spare his life, he’ll open a shop where you can buy an item that will help you. An important fight in the future…
The Guardian Golem of Highroad Cave may seem difficult at first, but once you learn the secret to this boss fight, it’s a walk in the park. Bring the perfect weapon and target the legs with heavy attacks to bring him to the ground and prepare for a critical chest shot.
The Black Knife Assassin is a slippery client that you can find at the end of the Deathtouched catacombs north of Limgrave. He likes to dodge back, waiting for the right moment to strike – but his attacks aren’t very strong, so you can easily block him and slowly whittle down his health bar with a little patience.
Gta Online Ufo Event: All Ufo Locations
Henricus Recusant will attack as you walk towards the Limgrave Coliseum, which is located northeast of Stormhill Hut. He uses heavy melee attacks that do a lot of damage on hit, but you’ll notice that they’re also pretty slow. To make light work of Henricus, equip a fast melee weapon like a dagger and drain his health while rolling to avoid any damage.
Mad Pumpkinhead lives in the basement beneath the ruins of Waypoint, guarding the room where the witch Selene resides, ready to impart magical knowledge to the player. Crazy Pumpkinhead likes to headbutt you and whip you with his bleeding whip. Take your time, don’t be greedy with your attacks, you’ll be fine.
During the day, the highway bridge that divides East from West Limgrave is guarded by a regular mounted trooper. At night, this troop is replaced by the Night Cavalry – a much more powerful ride with vicious halberds with incredible range. If you’re fighting this boss, use hit-and-run tactics with Torrent.
Locations In Redemption
The Tree Sentinel is like an even sharper version of Night’s Cavalry (above). He’ll also likely be the first real boss you’ll face in Elden Ring, as he’ll be revealed when you first enter Limegrave. He is a tough foe in the early game. I recommend using torrents and distracting the Sentinel with a good selection of Spirit Ashes.
Flying Dragon Agheel has the highest factor of the Elden Ring bosses based in Limgrave – but it’s actually not too hard to deal with as long as you stay mounted during the fight. As you approach, Agel flies into the center of the lake, belching flames and stabbing you with his tail, but his powerful attacks are clearly telegraphed and easily dodged.
Tibia Mariner is a curious boss who summons dead skeletal enemies to fight alongside him to fight the Samon Water Village from afar. The Mariner himself mostly just sits there and lets you hit him, only occasionally getting up to hit the ground. So ignore the minions and prioritize the sailor to finish this fight quickly.
Area 51 Fast Facts
Anastasia the Tarnished-Eater is another attacker like Bloodfinger Nerius. You’ll meet him as you approach Smoldering Church on the border between Limgrave and the Kellid Wilds to the east. Take your time to fight this opponent:
