Shikkaku Mon No Saikyou Kenja Sekai Saikyou No Kenja Ga Sarani Tsuyoku Naru Tameni Tenseishimashita – 2 based on the top anime page. Note that ‘not yet aired’ and ‘R18+’ titles are excluded.

At birth, wizards randomly acquire one of four “symbols” that represent their degree of magical ability. Armed with the Crest Mastering Creation, a man named Gaius reached the limit of his ability, known as the most powerful sage in the world. Despite his great strength, he is not satisfied with his abilities and desires to hold the appropriate sign for close combat. Knowing that a person’s symbol does not change, Gaius decides to roll far into the future, hoping to change his fate.

Thousands of years later, Gaius was reborn as Matthias Hildesheimer, successfully achieving his longed-for symbol. However, he is surprised to learn that in this age, magic has all but died out, and the once widely used techniques are now nothing more than a taint of legend. Furthermore, the peak he worked so hard to achieve is now considered the weakest – simply called the “Peak of Failure”.

However, Mathias naturally exceeds all expectations. He enrolled in the Second Academy of the Imperial Capital, facing every trial that came his way. But soon after, Matthias discovers the dark truth behind humanity’s descent into magical mediocrity—demons—and seeks to undo the consequences of his millennia-long absence once and for all.

It may be blatant but it’s just an old Power Fantasy anime, where the character is only in New Game+.

Either way it’s the same brag, “I know it from my past life, so trust me bro / I did it in a past life / I know it from my past life / I did this mess in a past life so it’s powerful.”

Now power concepts can be great, many people forget with the focus on comedy but one…Punchman is basically a power fantasy and it’s brilliantly executed, although some people might call it more sarcastic and they’d be right. If we want a better comparison, we should compare it to another anime called The Misfit of Demon King Academy, which has a pretty similar plot and is a breath of fresh air in the almost stale power fantasy genre. able to breathe Why so? In a power fantasy, where the outcome of the plot is pretty clear meaning the MC will show power and win anyway, there is a bit of a wait because the story can’t be interesting if every outcome is already clear. These are the characters. Matty is more of a Creato clone than any Ishikai protégé before him, heck he even dresses and looks like him XD, he has that “I can do anything if the plot calls for it” charm. But still he is a shy little virgin who is afraid of girls touch wow on the other hand Anos voldiGOAT is pure evil, he knows his power ..shows it, acts and feels like his royalty has power and power to support. Saitama is a hero even without his powers. These main characters stand out even without their powers. Matty would probably just be a mob figure if he was weak. The supporting characters in One Punch Man are actually the show’s greatest strength. The arc of the story and the development in misunderstanding is what makes the side characters stand out. In this anime xD I legitimately forget the names of both girls as I swear they are just so boring and only there to validate and compliment Matty’s power. A good character is Iris who immediately became better and more memorable than the main trio even though she was introduced in the fourth episode XD. Plot (3/10) Satan is evil, humanity is now weak, Matty is strong, the king now serves Matty, Matty saves humanity, girls open their pants, Iris is cute. Characters (4/10) Blondie, Archer Girl, King, Manager are just Matty worshipers and can be put down as one character, Iris is nice and cute but that’s it, S rank adventure is my mild interest. It’s a guess. Art and Animation (6/10) The art is bad, but the animation is surprisingly decent but nothing special as expected by the JC team as the way to go for them: 3.ED There is almost no art except for some nice shots. Iris’s being cute.OP is a great collection of art-on-display pieces. VA and Sound (5/10) Iris’ voice actress brings out her beauty but, like the show, the rest is pretty forgettable. Standard walking simulator ED without good art, the song is fine but the lack of art gives it away immediately. A longtime Power Fantasy fan might like it, but I have a hard time recommending it to anyone else. The best I can suggest is to watch the first three episodes and then decide that what follows is more.

Have you ever played a hard game and wished you could defeat a boss easily? Ever wish you could clear a game without dying just once? Well, look no further than Gaius, aka Matthias Hildesheimer, reborn as a sage with magic and powerful skills. Welcome to the show about a young man who was once strong is still strong.

Now, I don’t want to spoil the expectations but just reading the synopsis makes me feel boring. You probably expect a character who treats every fight like a walk in the park. And honestly, you’re not really wrong. You see, Mathias represents… one of the famous Mary Stow type characters you can find in some Izakai. The recurring trope has been a mainstay in some isekai series in recent years. Mathias is truly the proof of being the ‘Final Boss’ in this show. The title translated into English seems inconsistent in that we have a character of the strongest sage but with the weakest symbol. He was reincarnated for specific reasons, but even so, the title of the show itself seems ironic. To further this point, if we look at him from the outside, Mathias has no special physical attributes. He looks like an ordinary boy with some mysterious aura behind his personality. He obviously has a history but the show decided to make him less relevant and focus on his current goals. And like most fantasy adventures, he gets a companion. I wouldn’t say this anime is exactly a harem but we have a boy surrounded by three girls: Lori, Alma and Iris. Oh, before I forget, Iris is actually a dragon but takes the form of a beautiful girl with red hair and a big appetite. You may be wondering what their roles are in the show and believe me, it is not relevant to explain. This is because the anime wants Mathias to become a shining superstar. Each episode follows a similar looping formula where we see Mathias as a great sage. There is not a single battle in which he really struggles. In fact, you’re better off watching a one-sided stomping battle at its simplest. Fight and action scenes also lack variety. You’d think that this anime would at least showcase Matthias’ full range of abilities in some way but no, sorry. Like most fantasy anime with magical elements these days, we also have an academy that teaches various branches of magical arts. Guess well who is the best student. That’s right, it’s Matthias. He does everything from clearing quests without breaking a sweat, defeating demons with ease, and humiliating opponents like Erhard like it’s not even worth his time. Because of these qualities, Lori and Alma admire him and want to learn to be as strong as Sage. Iris, however, joins him because of their past history. Together, the group carries a large part of the show on their shoulders with Mathias at the helm. Look, that’s what I’m going to say now. If you somehow made it past the three-episode mark, then there’s a certain chance you’ll be able to finish the show without questioning your sanity. Want an anime with a deep and complex story? Does character development interest you? Or maybe a meaningful relationship between the main players? If any of these questions are on your mind, look elsewhere. The program advertises itself as a depressing adaptation that will soon kill itself. You won’t enjoy the anime if you’re tired of Matthias’ alpha male killing demons being a daily occurrence. Too bad
