Spongebob The Great Train Mystery – “The Great Patty Caper” is a SquarePants episode from season 7. In this episode, the key to the safe deposit box that holds the secret Krabby Patty recipe is lost.
The episode opens with them opening the curtains to the Krusty Krab’s freezer to find they’ve run out of Krabby Patties. He and Mr. Krabs try to make more but can’t remember the recipe. Mr. Krabs gives the keys to the vault where the recipe is hidden, and he and Patrick take a train to the bank to protect the box. Sometime during the ride, the key to the box is stolen and Patrick must find the thief.

After they break down a couple of times, Plankton approaches them, and Patrick looks for him but finds him clean. The duo wait for the train to find the suspect responsible for stealing the key. They searched for a mother and her child, and found a piece of jewelry stolen from the child’s diaper by three people pretending to be the mother and child. Then the curtains are closed.

The curtains open again and the next suspect, the man, is later revealed to be a thief named Orin J. Ruffy, who stole $75,000 in ham sandwiches. cries hopelessly but soon finds Patrick and the key; In fact, you see the cleaning time is short. Patrick then stupidly put an end to the accelerator, which he thought said “Break.” Meanwhile, as Plankton is caught trying to steal the formula by Mr. Krabs, he also runs away with it, until the train crashes into a bank and Plankton is stopped before he can leave. Though Plankton’s plan fails again, Mr. Krabs has to pay the damages to the bank and his bank account, causing Mr. Krabs to cry in disbelief.
