3) I think Magic Kite made it clear that Kite will see the target area when it’s crowded rather than when it’s empty. This is because he has to know who has the number in that area, where he can hide it and what opportunities he can get. Child cannot hide faces/clothes without knowing the people they are going to show. Remember his original scene where he had to take Ran’s dress about a week before the actual robbery? I always believed his plan was to watch the conductors of each car and pretend to be one of them for the long ride. Because they were the only ones who would still be on the train during the robbery. I think that the tricks of the conductors that came out were very close to the child’s intentions.
4. It’s not like they blow up a train in a procession. I’m pretty sure Jean intended to use C4 only after confirming Bourbon was on the street train. If it wasn’t him, he would have planned to remove the bomb from the corpse.
