When he arrives in New York on a cargo ship, he is confronted by a group of sailors who mistake him for a stowaway and attempt to capture him. He defeats them and jumps aboard the dark Manhattan night.
He arrives at the Avengers mansion and secretly searches for the Avengers profiles. After learning about Captain America, he saves her from being killed by Baron Zemo when he attacks the mansion.
When Captain America confronts him with a hostile attitude, T’Challa introduces himself and the Avengers and says they need their help to rid Wakanda of the evil ape-man. They go back to Wakanda with him and he goes off alone to fight the Ape Man. Captain America tries to help him, however, is told not to interfere.
The Avengers agree to help him and help free T’Challa from the Man-Ape. With his country free and a new king, he decides to join the Avengers. He told his people that their days were long hidden and he wanted them to change their old ways to new and modernized ones. Black Panther was accepted into the Avengers.
I Was Standing On My Own, But Now I’m Not Alone
Black Panther goes in search of Hawkeye with his new teammates. They corner him and S.H.I.E.L.D. are about to arrest him before being interrupted by, who need their help in investigating the leader. He and the others are sent to the vault and are attacked by some of the criminals inside. He and some of the Avengers were unable to get infected and managed to briefly save the world from the Dome.
However, this is avoided when the leader simply presses the button and returns everything to the way it was. This time, Black Panther was unable to escape and became the Gamma Demon along with Iron Man, Captain America and the Wasp. He took the absent Thor to the leader and followed the leader’s orders as he interrogated the Asgardians. Black Panther was healed by Hawkeye’s arrow when he shot it. After the Leader is defeated by the Hulk, Thor, and Hawkeye, Hawkeye joins the Avengers.
The Avengers are split up while the newly formed Masters of Evil choose to seek revenge. Wasp was captured by the Masters of Evil while Black Panther and Hawkeye were together. Hawkeye literally expressed his displeasure in the juice Black Panther slurped and spat it out and proceeded to wash his mouth with water while Black Panther cheered his displeasure. Black Panther and Hawkeye bring Ant-Man back from Wakanda and release him into his laboratory while the two distract the Masters of Evil.
The Abomination captures the Black Panther before releasing it so that Baron Zemo can execute him. Black Panther tells Baron Zemo and the other Masters of Evil that he and Hawkeye will accept his death with honor and pride before revealing to Zemo that he and Hawkeye will have the tools Ant-Man needs to defeat them. Once Ant-Man arrives, Black Panther fights The Crimson Dynamo Wasp.

Black Panther and Captain America stand by as Hawkeye is rebuked by Iron Man and Nick Fury. The two apologize and offer to go after Black Widow with him. After Hawkeye allows Mockingbird to join them, T’Challa tells Cap “at least now we know his weakness, if he wants to attack us” The four split, with Black Panther and Captain America on board while Hawkeye and Mockingbird H.Y.D.R.A. are above. Enter Black Widow’s headquarters. T’Challa and Cap join them and the four storm the base. Black Panther, Mockingbird and Captain America H.Y.D.R.A. Agent Hawkeye follows Black Widow. After the mission, the trio returned to Avengers Mansion.
When Kang the Conqueror tried to kill Captain America, Black Panther defended him. Kang shows him and the other Avengers what will happen if they don’t let him destroy Cap. Earth will be destroyed. The Avengers don’t believe him and attack him. Iron Man uses Kang’s chair to carry them home. Kang escapes to the Damocles base and invades Earth.
Black Panther fights robots on the ground with the help of Captain America, Ant-Man, Hawkeye and Hulk. They destroy them, but they restore themselves. The Wasps use the Quinjet to destroy them. When Kang’s forces attack Wakanda, Black Panther returns and destroys the robots. Kang was eventually defeated and captured.
T’Challa, along with Thor and Iron Man, defeats Radioactive Man during an attack on Stark Tower. When Malekith froze the world, Black Panther traveled to Norway and defeated Malekith along with Thor and Iron Man. Ancient Winters’ casket was sealed by Thor, but later stolen by the Enchantress. Thor tries to follow him to Asgard but he is turned off.

Ultron robot Hank Pym goes rogue and takes over all of Iron Man’s armor. Black Panther holds them back along with Wasp, Hulk and Hawkeye. Hawkeye tells Wasp and Hulk to fight Ultron while he and Black Panther hold off the rest of the two. Just then, the four robots return and are fully recovered. Black Panther then apologized to him.
When the Masters of Evil discover the location of the Norn Stones, T’Challa and the other Avengers split up to find the stones before the Masters. T’Challa finds one, but is tackled by Wonder Man. T’Challa tries to convince him that Wakandan science can help his condition, but Simon is unmoved. A single soul sent by enchanters from all nine realms finally defeated them. Thor orders the Avengers to destroy the rock, and after everyone does so, sends them all into the Nine Realms.
T’Challa ends up in Swartalfim where he is chased by ghostly creatures until he finds a portal that sends him to Alphem so he can help Hawkeye and Faraday fight the wolves using his vibranium.
After reuniting with the other Avengers, T’Challa then helps the rest of the team
