Let me start by saying that if you came to this blog post looking for sexy lingerie and party dresses, you are in the wrong place. The past two years have been…strange. Unfortunately we are still stuck in this pandemic and I don’t know about you but I am ready for it to be over. So if that means spending Valentine’s Day at home, so be it. I can do my part by keeping myself and others safe while having fun with these Valentine’s Day outfit ideas.

Valentine’s Day will certainly look different this year, as it has in recent years. Instead of getting ready for date night at our favorite restaurant, on February 14 Adam and I will be on the couch watching a movie with Miles and Bowie and ordering takeout. I will also order some fancy champagne to make the day a little more special, because why not! Days of love call for a drink a little higher than my typical box of red wine, ha!

And what should I wear for Valentine’s Day in 2022? My favorite loungewear of course! I actually want to grab something festive so that the sofas feel at least a little “dressed up” than on normal days. Not pajamas per se, but maybe a cute set or something pink or red with heart prints to have some fun with the holiday theme. I also hope the weather is nice and maybe we can go out for a family outing – my favourite!
Moral of the story: Whatever you decide to do on Valentine’s Day this year, remember to practice as safe and socially distancing as possible as we navigate this pandemic year. Oh my God! This whole look – every single piece – is amazing! At the top is a style I’ve always loved and never get tired of: that big bow! It is also available in black! The jeans sold out in hours when I first posted about them, but they’ve been restocked – they’re TTS. The shoes are great – I brought them to the Bahamas because they literally go with all my outfits. I was packing and wearing those heels! The square toe is so in and the sheer helps to make your legs so long! Also – these earrings are a pair I was on the waiting list for, but then randomly found them for $6 recently!!! I’ve been wanting them since the beginning of fall!
I’m a homebody so this is actually my favorite of all the looks! I’m an introvert and prefer to stay home and use doordash, lol! I wore it on Monday [when I had my car accident] and I worked like crazy all day and everywhere I went people stopped to ask about the dress. It almost became funny because it happened over and over. It’s now 50% off for $36 – you can’t beat it! I’m self-conscious about my C-section, but I don’t feel bad at all in this dress. The sleeves at the top are cute – they are tight at the wrist making the dress look almost classy – that’s what Zimmerman does with her dresses! I’m wearing a size 4 in this dress – and it fits well – I’d say it’s a TTS – or maybe a little bigger. I could do a 2, but the pants might be tight through my hips!
