We decorate butterflies with confetti Have you ever used confetti for crafts? It’s a fun and easy way to decorate your craft and make it beautiful and colorful What I love about Confetti is that it’s so cheap and we love making our craft accessible to everyone. Whether you buy a package at the store, drop confetti from a party, or cut paper into small pieces, you are sure to. Will enjoy creating something bright and colorful
Step 1: Paint your spoon pink (or your child’s favorite color). We also painted some colorful stripes but instead of painting stripes you can also use washi tape, it’s an easy way to get straight and lines.

Step 2: Make the wings For the wings, we use a clear plastic sheet on which we glue the confetti. A clear sheet is perfect because if you hold your butterfly on the window, the light will be bright. For the wings I recommend drawing one side on A4/letter size paper. use it as a template for the wings of your plastic sheet Now pull and cut out the left and right wings, using the same template so that both wings are the same size and shape. You can also use clear contact paper for the wings, so you don’t need glue at all. small children)
Step 3: When you are happy with the wings, start decorating them with confetti We use regular glue for this
Step 4: Now that your wings are fully decorated, it’s time to make a border out of cardstock around the wings. For this you can use the same template you used before Draw a border about ½ inch (3 cm) and glue it to your wings.
Step 5: Take your painted wooden spoon and give your butterfly two googly eyes. For the antenna we used a piece of iron wire decorated with some beads and topped with some pom-poms. If you don’t have iron wire, you can also use a pipe filter, a small branch or rope for an antenna.

Step 6: Take a glue gun and glue the wings and antenna to the back of the wooden spoon.
Crafting Tip: If you go to a discount store (Europe) or dollar store (US and Canada), you can buy wooden spoons and confetti for less than a dollar.
